I mean, parts of it I hated, like Jon, after everything he did to fight off the wight walkers, thus saving the world, and still being banished back to the wall. But then I started thinking.... He will be so much happier there. He spent 6 seasons there anyway. It is what he knows. Plus, everyone there loves him and he was reunited with ghost. My jaw literally dropped when he killed daeny though... It was one of those moments where it is being insinuated that he was going to kill her but then you are thinking "nah, that isn't what will happen" and then Bam! Her friggin stabs her while in lip lock.
James Van yeah there were some good points. The whole season felt rushed though, from beginning to end and there were so many arcs to wrap up. I just wished they had devoted more episodes and creativity to the process.

The true Queen of Westeros. Seasons 7 & 8 were terrible to her. In my head, Daenerys took King's Landing immediately after landing at Dragonstone (dumb ass Tyrion got fired) and without killing thousands of innocents because her character would never do that realistically (this is the same character who freed thousands of slaves, who oversaw the burial of hundreds of crucified little girls so they could be put to rest, who ordered the Unsullied to only kill the masters, not the innocents). Right now she's ruling over the Seven Kingdoms in my head, and an actual Maester is in the Small Council, not Sam who dropped out after a few weeks but somehow became the Grandmaester of King's Landing (ugh). And Jaime and Brienne reunited after he killed Cersei, so that 7 seasons of character development weren't a total waste of everyone's time.

No one had to follow her back that day, and yet the whole army went along with her because they chose to do so - she didn't steal anyone lmfao. She also made decisions against her own beliefs and took risks in favor of her people (locking down her dragons, allowing back fights, letting some slaves to go back to their old masters and making sure it happens under fair conditions, saving Jon and loosing Viserion in the process) and was viewed by many as their rightful queen - just like Jon was perceived as the rightful king by his people. It may be a stupid chair for you, but for Dany it's the symbol of lost family, hope and childhood. She was forced to flee her continent while her family was murdered, and then she had to grow up in unfamiliar lands with no one but Viserys, who, as we know, was becoming more and more bitter and abusive towards her. Don't be so surprised that she fights so hard for it.

This is the arc I have always seen for Danny or something similar and though I'm sure Martin will handle her transition with tact and give it the time it needs to develop in the narrative, I am not surprised by Danny's turn of character. Not my fault that people fell in love with an unprincipled psychopath because she was a woman. Maybe judge people by their actions and not what's between their legs.

It's my belief that a principled person holds the same rules and justice for their enemies as their loved ones.Danny breaks the world into factions and places entire groups of people into the good or bad category and then deals with them as she see's fit. Adolf Hitler thought he was right too and a lot of Germans rallied willingly around him. Danny is literally Hitler and has always been, in my opinion, a warning to any who would seek power. Power corrupts and absolute power, well that corrupts absolutely.

The true Queen of Westeros. Seasons 7 & 8 were terrible to her. In my head, Daenerys took King's Landing immediately after landing at Dragonstone (dumb ass Tyrion got fired) and without killing thousands of innocents because her character would never do that realistically (this is the same character who freed thousands of slaves, who oversaw the burial of hundreds of crucified little girls so they could be put to rest, who ordered the Unsullied to only kill the masters, not the innocents). Right now she's ruling over the Seven Kingdoms in my head, and an actual Maester is in the Small Council, not Sam who dropped out after a few weeks but somehow became the Grandmaester of King's Landing (ugh). And Jaime and Brienne reunited after he killed Cersei, so that 7 seasons of character development weren't a total waste of everyone's time.
Khal Drogo was one of my fav characters in the whole dang show.

She just gave commands and when she finally had to the chance to rule, she messed up and created a total chaos. She never listened to anyone and even after King's Landing surrendered, she kept burning everyone and everything.
Bran also did nothing! But you know who did? Jon. He literally risked his life thousands of times for his people. He was even killed for them and for what is right.
And you know why? Because Jon, did what he did for his people and the realm while daenerys did what she did for a stupid chair. I rest my case. :P

The dragon is not some mindless thing to be ordered around, which is the whole point here - the master's demise was caused by his own greed and ignorance + at the end of the day, the army still listened to Dany and went with her, even though she gave them the choice to go away and live freely. No one had to follow her back that day, and yet the whole army went along with her because they chose to do so - she didn't steal anyone lmfao. She traveled through many cities and freed many people who joined her - not because of fear, but because they genuinely believed in her - which for me accounts for hard-ass work. Besides, it's stupid to assume that ANY OTHER character wouldn't use the power of three dragons if they had them at hand xd Surprise, even Jon wouldn't made it if it wasn't for the fact that Dany and her dragons saved him back at the frozen lake.
I have nothing against Jon (...well, at least during seasons 1-7), but it's always lovely to see how his stans see him as "1000% pure best character", while Dany is stupid, lazy and whatever else. In reality, their stories often pararell. She also made decisions against her own beliefs and took risks in favor of her people (locking down her dragons, allowing back fights, letting some slaves to go back to their old masters and making sure it happens under fair conditions, saving Jon and loosing Viserion in the process) and was viewed by many as their rightful queen - just like Jon was perceived as the rightful king by his people.
It may be a stupid chair for you, but for Dany it's the symbol of lost family, hope and childhood. She was forced to flee her continent while her family was murdered, and then she had to grow up in unfamiliar lands with no one but Viserys, who, as we know, was becoming more and more bitter and abusive towards her. Don't be so surprised that she fights so hard for it.
