Hi Matt
Great New Years video!
Some cautions:
Watch out for the Debbie Downers and the Eeyores In the world. They will tell you exactly why your passion is useless. Along the same lines watch out for the belief that you are too old or young for pursuing your passion.
On the other hand, I've found that if I can deconstruct what I like about doing something I may find alternatives that are equally exciting.
(If you like ghost stories, you might just have an interest in genealogy or antiques.)
Looking forward to next years videos.
You make some good points. In truth history is full of people who defied the so-called "Experts" and went on to become mega stars in their fields.
I would also like to add that one should be patient. Passion is a cyclical thing, at least that's how it is for me. There are ups and downs, summers and winters, upswings and downswings. It will come back. It's also important not to confuse passion with purpose or meaning, because that's what some people mean when they say "I want to discover my passion". Anyway, a solid video as always. Happy new year, Matt. I wish you every success in realising your mission.
A very astute observation Adnan. Thanks for posting and for your good wished.
