Neill, thank you so much for introducing this run. Personally speaking, I think this is better than the Athens wall run so far as it doesn’t seem as daunting and guarantees more weapons because of weapon racks. Athens only has a few and each run per tower takes longer than the long wall near the end of this story. I literally made over 100k in half an hour. And if that isn’t amazing, I don’t know what is. I’ve yet to have a good build at lvl 40(still at the storyline quest to visiting Thermopylae after Delphi), so fighting off 3-4 Merc at a time is too much.
Glad to hear it's working for you! At level 40 I would expect even better money/time using one of the stories in Aipeia, Messenia. There are more weapon racks (17!) and at level 40 with the higher chance of rares and epics the larger number of items looted per time spent wins out over the higher base level items.
Neill Smith i could try that out as well. Grinding for 1-2 hours isn’t much compared to how few I yield in Athens. I play the game in console, Ps4 slim, so others should take into consideration that my loading time isn’t the greatest. To those who have better loading time- they could probably yield more than 150k-250k per half hour.
Thank you for this! I just picked up the game, and fun fact, I did this about 7 times, and I went to sell the items for crafting material (upgrading weapons and armor take a lot). And the Sword of Yumminess was there! What are the odds? Thank you.
Something you can do when you get a little farther in the game (particularly when you reach Athens I was around level 18-20) is the Athens wall run. You just run around the wall that surrounds Athens and gather materials and weapons from the various racks.
That's a popular one for sure and it was one of the better options before user stories. @@NeillSmith okay tyvm. I appreciate you responding. This is my first assassins creed game and I'm hooked. Just seems like the upgrade materials and drachmae is soo steep for only a few levels at a time
Epic weapons tend to show up more past a certain level, around 25-30. Earlier than that and epics are pretty hard to farm at blacksmiths especially in the quantities necessary to get a good roll. The blade of yumminess I think is on a different table altogether, seemed to take the same amount of time at level 7-8 as it did at level 99 maybe 10-20 minutes of reloading on PC give or take? If you are trying to the blade at low levels do not be discouraged by the lack of epics. If you are trying for epics at a low level be prepared to roll a ton more than you would at later levels and maybe focus on leveling a bit more first.
Wow good timing. I am literally at the point depicted here - I got myself a boat and I go out and get utterly destroyed by a pack of Athenian galleys. Good times :P
Blacksmiths only change stock the first time you visit and then it becomes permanent until you leave the area for awhile or level up. So if the blacksmith isn't changing stock just switch to another blacksmith and eventually you'll find one that is changing stock.
10-15 times maybe? You can approximate how many common weapons you need by checking the blacksmith before you start for a common or blue sword at your level. For a common sword multiply by 62 for a blue/rare sword multiply by 25. Each common weapon is worth maybe 220-250 when you're below level 40 so divide out for the number you have to gather.
You have to save before you talk to them the first time. If it's not changing switch to another blacksmith. If you can't get any blacksmith to work level up once and try again being careful not to talk to them until after you save near them.

Awesome content! this has been very helpful! I wanted to ask you if you have or can recommend other stories where to get similar weapons in value lvl 40+ (and also be short to do like the Patrai wall run) ? thank you!
I really like this story for level 40+: assassinscreed.ubisoft.com/story-creator-mode/en-us/quest/5ea8e257b01ede49e8f6bafa There's 4 racks on the docks, 4 at the forge, 4 in a warehouse just north of the message board, 2 in the Production Line, and 3 near the leader house. 17 racks total, takes maybe 2 minutes if you just run through and ignore all the enemies.
You can farm weapon racks on Kephallonia and get the Blade of Yuminess to spawn at the blacksmith there but it takes a lot longer. The lowest level I've managed it on Kephallonia was 7. If you do it before unlocking the ship you will not have access to user stories so you have to wait for weapon racks to respawn on their own. After unlocking the ship and getting access to user stories you could do it with one on Kephallonia but it is still faster to travel to patrai because the item level there is much higher so you get more money per weapon.
I'm on PS4 and idk how to add a story into my game. Like i click on add to story log, then back out and search them again and it's never there. for any story i add to my log. idk where they go to. heelelelllp
So you have to add to log on the site, then in game you have to have the user stories option enabled in your gameplay settings, and then it will show up in the story log which is a sub menu of the quest log you access with the button on the bottom right.

Try a different blacksmith, one you haven't been near in awhile. If you talk to them and save after or spend to much time near the blacksmith the inventory will become fixed until after your next level up.
I played over the free weekend and it unlocked automatically for me in the ubisoft club rewards. Now whenever I make a new game it is automatically added to my inventory and there's no way to get rid of it in game.
Not really no, it is 100% supported and implemented by Ubisoft. The only negative IMO is the blue portals popping up sometimes are pretty ugly and pull you out of the experience but that's easy to fix by disabling them in the game menu when you are not using them.
Did you add it to your log? With user created stories turned on in game only a small group of maybe 20 stories are added in game. To see a specific story go to the use story site, sign in with the same account you use to sign in for the game itself, and then add the stories you want to your user story log. That should make them appear in game.
@@NeillSmith I've been using this story to make a lot of money, and I paid a lot to learn some of the engraving upgrades from the blacksmith in the cave, but for some reason I can't get the "Crit chance at full heath" to upgrade, I paid him for all the upgrades and now it's gone from his list of things to learn, but only 4 of the dots are lit and it's only at 8% crit chance at full health when I look at my engravings from the inventory tab, it says to complete the ostrica's all around Greece to make it go higher. I've already completed all 60 of the ostrica's plus the one in Korfu, are there others? or do I have to do the ostrica's in all the dlc's too? Is this a glitch? I was able to fully Learn/upgrade Crit chance, Crit damage and Crit damage at full health, all have 10 dots lit. I'm level 65 if it matters.
Well it sounds like you're missing one of the riddles for CRIT Chance while Full Health. Have you checked for the 5 for CRIT Chance while Full Health specifically? In your inventory screen if you click on the leather pouch bottom left in that menu the Ostrakas you have collected are in the middle pane. Any you have completed will have a check mark. Look through that list for Hound Docked, Odor in the Court, Rightful King, Stadium Love, and To the Edge of the World. If one is missing or doesn't have a checkmark that's the one you need. If all 5 are there and all 5 have check marks then unfortunately you have encountered a bug, NG+ might fix it but I'm not sure.
@@NeillSmith Thank you! I'm pretty sure I have them all but I will check again for those 5, and it could be a glitch too since nearly every time I play, the game crashes and shuts off.
When you have advanced the story enough to gather enough upgrade pieces to unlock level 3 abilities or level 31 because that's a good level to start using the full pirate set whichever comes first.
No the bighorn bow will never appear at a blacksmith. It will only appear in game at the oikos of olympos or in 'gifts' you can buy there. The Helix store for real money is another option, you get some Helix credits for free during your first playthrough so that's another way to get it.
Great video! I didn’t realize what I was missing by not grabbing the world contracts! Having trouble getting your story to show up on Xbox... Is that a console thing or am I doing it wrong?
If you have the stories turned on in game options you should be able to use the Ubisoft site to add them to your story log and then, once you are back in game, open your story log and highlight it from the list and it will show up.
Yes it still works. At level 7 I think around 14,700? For any level the cost is about 24.5 times the cost of a blue sword of the same level so if a blue quality sword at your level is 600 then the blade of yumminess would be around 14,700.
@@NeillSmith i have a question, im at level 14 and a blue sword at level 15 for me is 400, so 20 times 400 is 8,000. The price seems too cheap for it to be true, am i doing something wrong ??
Is this story available on console? Specifically xbox one. Just bought the game from summer sale and honest my first assassin creed game. I like it a lot but the struggle is real.
As far as I know, the user created stories are cross platform. I don't even think there's a concept of a user story that's specific to a platform they're all created through the website.
@@RG-Racing I used Patrai wall run, albeit just couple of times. You really do not need to grind in this game. Just level up first by doing quests, contracts, bounties you will swim in xp and resources in no time
I believe as of now it's available for everyone. If it's not automatically added to your inventory when you're in the game, open the menu and then go to the store option and then look for the "owned" tab and I believe it should show up in that list.

Does this require dlc or just the base game? I think the base game is on xbox game pass, so I can download it and start playing. How soon can you start doing these player created missions? Thanks.
Just the base game. You can do them as soon as you finish with the tutorial island area which usually takes a couple hours I would say depending on how directly you do objectives.
Hi and thanks for this! I added your story via the link you provided. I am at the location I see in your video where it should start, but there is nothing there. How do I actuate the blue portal to appear. I do have the story mode activated as shown in your video. I do see story icons at other places on the map (the blue square with the exclamation point) so it seems stories are working? But nothing on the wall (or in that city at all) as you have shown. Thanks in advance!
Sometimes you have to restart the game to get the My Stories list to update. If that doesn't work maybe double check that you're logging into Ubisoft's website with the same account you're using to connect in game.
@@NeillSmith Thank you for the reply Neill. I have started/restarted several times. I've added and removed your story a couple of times. Yet, the others show up on my map but no matter all the above, your story does not show up in that city. It's crazy! I found a story that's nearby and have at least used your information - going to that city and running that wall's weapon racks - as you've outlined. So thanks for that! But gee whiz... just can't get YOUR story to appear. I'm right to assume the blue exclamation diamond should appear on my map in that city, yes? I don't understand... How do I make ANY story of my choosing or random (let alone your story) STAY on the map from one day to the next? Obviously Story Mode is on since I can access the random ones that appear, but is there a setting that I don't see that lets me see the stories I pick (such as yours) and then have them STAY? Or do you have to pick them every time you start the game? Sorry to bother you but I THANK YOU for any illumination you (or anyone) can provide!

Yea this is a very nice glitch I have been using since I was level 10 I'm now level 36 but I was wondering what happens when I sell the weapons after level 42 will they still go for the same price?
So this spot is great at low levels because the base level of the area is pretty high. 36 is around the level you want to switch to spots with better weapon rack density, like Aipeia Inspection in Messenia will give 17 weapon racks in less than 2 minutes using this story: assassinscreed.ubisoft.com/story-creator-mode/en-us/quest/5ea8e257b01ede49e8f6bafa
It doesn't give much xp, this is a money farming technique. For leveling at level 20 I would recommend the techniques in this video: ua-cam.com/video/hL3nhdVEG0k/v-deo.html
Yeah this still works if not with the listed stories then with another story in the same area. Really any user story can be used you can completely ignore the objectives, loot the weapon racks, and restart as many times as you need to get enough stuff to sell for the money you need.
@@NeillSmith on the same day I commented this, I tried this method and I got 30k drachme easily which is INSANE for my level. This video helped me sooo much and I'm really grateful
Your blacksmith inventory refresh farm doesn`t at all. I tried it many time and no stock refresh at all it always the same stock no matter how many time you reload the save. Did Ubisoft patch out the infinite blacksmith stock refresh farm ?
No it's not patched or anything. If a blacksmith inventory is already permanent before the save then reloading won't change it and another blacksmith must be used. It works best with blacksmiths that have not been visited in awhile. Couple things are guaranteed to make it not work like saving after the inventory has been checked in any way. If you buy something from the blacksmith, for example, another must be used to continue searching for things.
Yes the weapon buying part works on xbox. Just make sure to save before speaking to the blacksmith for the firs t time manually and then come back to that same manual save each time. If you cannot get a fresh inventory each time try a different blacksmith or leveling up once, then saving, and then talking to the blacksmith.
First off, great video. Thank you for the help. I searched for your story typing in “Patrai Wall Run” but it did not appear In the search results. Is it still up? Is there a reason I can’t find it? Thanks again.
@@NeillSmith Thanks. Your link worked perfectly and I have successfully used the story to amass drachmae and resources. No luck with blacksmiths finding the blade, despite a lot of reloading and moving to different blacksmiths. Bad luck I get.
They were a reward for logging in during an anniversary event weekend. Right now the club rewards have been broken by the conversion from uplay to ubisoft connect so until that's fixed there's no way to get them. Hopefully when that is fixed they will become available to everyone.

If you are trying for epics at a low level be prepared to roll a ton more than you would at later levels and maybe focus on leveling a bit more first.
Thanks man your the best.💯💯💯💯💯
Wow good timing. I am literally at the point depicted here - I got myself a boat and I go out and get utterly destroyed by a pack of Athenian galleys. Good times :P
Sooooo much help thank you
didnt seem to have to run the mission that many times, when i got to blacksmith I ended up with 20k but I cant get him to change his stock.
Blacksmiths only change stock the first time you visit and then it becomes permanent until you leave the area for awhile or level up. So if the blacksmith isn't changing stock just switch to another blacksmith and eventually you'll find one that is changing stock.
Okay, so at level 8, how many times will I need to run this to buy the blade, approximately?
10-15 times maybe? You can approximate how many common weapons you need by checking the blacksmith before you start for a common or blue sword at your level. For a common sword multiply by 62 for a blue/rare sword multiply by 25. Each common weapon is worth maybe 220-250 when you're below level 40 so divide out for the number you have to gather.
How to unlock the portals or can I not use it because I have not downloaded the legal copy
I tried the blacksmith trick however it did not work. Pls help me the blacksmith inventory is fixed and I cant change it
You have to save before you talk to them the first time. If it's not changing switch to another blacksmith. If you can't get any blacksmith to work level up once and try again being careful not to talk to them until after you save near them.
@@NeillSmith oh I didn't know that. Thanks for the info man
Well I signed in and added your story to my account. Not exactly sure how you activated it.
I exited the game when I did it and when I went back in it appeared ik I’m late but I thought I’d just let you know just in case.

Awesome content! this has been very helpful! I wanted to ask you if you have or can recommend other stories where to get similar weapons in value lvl 40+ (and also be short to do like the Patrai wall run) ? thank you!
I really like this story for level 40+: assassinscreed.ubisoft.com/story-creator-mode/en-us/quest/5ea8e257b01ede49e8f6bafa
There's 4 racks on the docks, 4 at the forge, 4 in a warehouse just north of the message board, 2 in the Production Line, and 3 near the leader house. 17 racks total, takes maybe 2 minutes if you just run through and ignore all the enemies.
I’m level 8 and doing this on kephallonia and I’m only getting rare items. Does this not work on kephalloinia?
Thank you so much
How do u keep the created stories for if need use it more to level as mine disappeared after doing it a few runs
Hello, I need to ask something. Do you know how does he (the guy in this video) 'save' and 'load' in game progress when he approaches the blacksmith? I’m also playing this on a PC, but i can’t seem to find any shortcut key for save and load. I’d really appreciate a respon
Hey man any chance to get this on PS version I am not able See your story on PS5
Is it still works? I liad save near blackksmith but him offers not changing
Try a different blacksmith, one you haven't been near in awhile. If you talk to them and save after or spend to much time near the blacksmith the inventory will become fixed until after your next level up.
Thank you 😊
You're welcome 😊
Got it. Tyvm
Hey I’ve done the tricks to try and get the blade of yumminess but at the two blacksmiths in the level 40 place they keep on giving me the same items.
Try visiting blacksmiths in other areas then until you find one that's giving you different items each time.
im playing origins, excited for odyssey after that. you video heavily demotivates me to play odyssey.
I tried to take out my suit, Assasin, but I did not scramble a lock on it and say I play the weekend. How did you get your suit off?
I played over the free weekend and it unlocked automatically for me in the ubisoft club rewards. Now whenever I make a new game it is automatically added to my inventory and there's no way to get rid of it in game.
I'm on PC, how do you "save and load"? I know there is a button in the menu to save, but you did it a lot fastr
Quicksave on PC is F5 I think and quickload is, I think, F9?
Hey if I use the story creator mode will it affect me negatively in any way like not allow achievements?
Not really no, it is 100% supported and implemented by Ubisoft. The only negative IMO is the blue portals popping up sometimes are pretty ugly and pull you out of the experience but that's easy to fix by disabling them in the game menu when you are not using them.
Your Patrai Wall Run story is not there now, and I have story creator ON
Did you add it to your log? With user created stories turned on in game only a small group of maybe 20 stories are added in game. To see a specific story go to the use story site, sign in with the same account you use to sign in for the game itself, and then add the stories you want to your user story log. That should make them appear in game.
@@NeillSmith Thank you for taking the time to explain that!
When's a good time to ditch the blade ? 😅 I only chanced upon it at level 18 and bought it
When you have advanced the story enough to gather enough upgrade pieces to unlock level 3 abilities or level 31 because that's a good level to start using the full pirate set whichever comes first.
How much did it cost you at level 18?
I just starting to played ACO. That is really something. Do bighorn bow appear in that blacksmith?
Thanks!
@@NeillSmith is it the same for Xbox?
Does it still work and how much does it cost for a level 7?
Yes it still works. At level 7 I think around 14,700? For any level the cost is about 24.5 times the cost of a blue sword of the same level so if a blue quality sword at your level is 600 then the blade of yumminess would be around 14,700.
@@NeillSmith I tried this many times but still I can’t find it.
I'm pretty sure it's available on xbox :)
Great content! Just a question, are the user created stories cross - platform? I play on Xbox, will I see stories from PC users?
As far as I know, the user created stories are cross platform. I don't even think there's a concept of a user story that's specific to a platform they're all created through the website.
@@NeillSmith thanks!
@@NerZhulSSJ2 did you get it to work?
@@RG-Racing I used Patrai wall run, albeit just couple of times. You really do not need to grind in this game. Just level up first by doing quests, contracts, bounties you will swim in xp and resources in no time
sorry if my question is stupid, and already too, really, very, late, but how to get Ezio's gear in Odyssey?
I believe as of now it's available for everyone. If it's not automatically added to your inventory when you're in the game, open the menu and then go to the store option and then look for the "owned" tab and I believe it should show up in that list.
@@NeillSmith i already did that many times, but i never found it there. is my game bugged? or is it because different region? my account reg 3, while the game reg 2...
It could be? I don't have any experience at all with the region stuff.

The Ubisoft servers aren’t working for me on PS4.
Same!
Lvl 27 looking for a actually good way to lvl up
Hi and thanks for this!
I checked the web site section that shows what stories are picked and in my game account (I've only picked 7 at the moment) - you story shows as one of the 7 I picked!!) Yet, the others show up on my map but no matter all the above, your story does not show up in that city. Oh well, apparently the Greek gods don't like me!
@@NeillSmith Thank you for the possible help. To date, I have not been able to get your story to come up on my map. Maybe I just don't understand the whole thing? (I'm slow...). Stories just appear on my map one day, then gone the next day. Are they supposed to be "here and gone"? How do I make ANY story of my choosing or random (let alone your story) STAY on the map from one day to the next? Obviously Story Mode is on since I can access the random ones that appear, but is there a setting that I don't see that lets me see the stories I pick (such as yours) and then have them STAY? Or do you have to pick them every time you start the game? Sorry to bother you but I THANK YOU for any illumination you (or anyone) can provide!
Thanks man, just started this game, was able to get to level 7 & acquire a boat but then theres a black wall that is appearing everytime i try to get across the other island. Do i need the dlc's to get there? Thanks
You need to progress the main story until you get the big boat. Until them you're limited to just the small island you start on.
Can I still get the blade of yumminess?
Yes it's still available.
Im level 20 and my odyssey quest is level 32 so I’m trying to get levels but how does this give you xp ?
Only do contrats
It doesn't give much xp, this is a money farming technique. For leveling at level 20 I would recommend the techniques in this video: ua-cam.com/video/hL3nhdVEG0k/v-deo.html
I stopped playing this game and have come back. My levels were reset so I'm on a low level. Does this still work?
Yeah this still works if not with the listed stories then with another story in the same area. Really any user story can be used you can completely ignore the objectives, loot the weapon racks, and restart as many times as you need to get enough stuff to sell for the money you need.
@@NeillSmith on the same day I commented this, I tried this method and I got 30k drachme easily which is INSANE for my level. Also I got the blade of yummyness and when I pair it up with the glitched 50% damage bow, my damage is insane. I can easily 1 shot mercenaries by assassinating them.
Hi! Does this work on Xbox? I meant like the weapon buying part?
Yes the weapon buying part works on xbox. Just make sure to save before speaking to the blacksmith for the firs t time manually and then come back to that same manual save each time. If you cannot get a fresh inventory each time try a different blacksmith or leveling up once, then saving, and then talking to the blacksmith.
I did the same damn thing at early levels !

How did you get that Altair's clothe?
They were a reward for logging in during an anniversary event weekend. Right now the club rewards have been broken by the conversion from uplay to ubisoft connect so until that's fixed there's no way to get them. Hopefully when that is fixed they will become available to everyone.
