Love it how the devs try to make you feel bad by using the words “brute force hack” and then say you needed the special collectors edition to decipher the missions to get this end game weapon which pretty much is useless when you’ve beaten the entire game and are just waiting for the river raids and the new missions coming with Wrath of the Druids.
Now this is the kind of stuff I wish to see in future AC games. The level of detail from the developers and the level of work the players did just to complete this puzzle. I wish that the teams who worked on Valhalla would become the core developers for the AC series going forward because I actually feel like they get the games as well as the effort that players would put into it just to solve a mystery.

People are going to start buying the more expensive versions expecting hidden clues for better gear. Pretty soon the standard version won't even come with the final mission unless you upgrade.

Now that you think of all new AC game names I think there's a hidden meaning behind them Origins as in start of idea of brotherhood/hidden ones Odyssey as in journey of how order of ancients evolved Valhalla as in end point to order of ancients and starting of Templar order. We'll probably see birth of modern day " assassin's " in next game. I could be wrong tho.

Personally don’t like the idea that you have to have to collectors edition to find this on your own. Just seems like they are trying to take more money from players. But it is super in depth so that’s crazy
But we didn’t. The only thing these guys needed help with was the Singapore part and even that they probably would have figured out on their own eventually. Every other part they did by themselves. You literally have to translate from the collectors edition box to be able to crack this. I personally think that in game mysteries should have in game solutions not ones you need a collectors edition to solve.

This whole thing is fascinating. Like wow to come up with this must have been fun to do. I remember looking at all the weird signs on my collectors edition and was like wow thats neat but never thought it would be the key to something in the game lol. AC going into that Uncharted territory with deciphering ancient languages is a cool idea
How long it took you to wait for the sunset to come. For me when it came I hit so many times it didn't work then night comes. Do I need to use heavy attacks to break it with Excalibur?

I really love Valhalla. Many have been bashing on it, it's absurd. I love Origins, Odyssey and this. These are definitely some of my favorite games. I'm such a fan of RPGs so this direction they've been taking and sticking with what works is so amazing. I really think Valhalla may be the longest game ever lol but it doesn't feel grindy whatsoever since even the smallest stories are interesting.
i like how the Bow is in the middle of the Lake like the real storie of Excalibur when Arthur throw the sword like 3948274 times into the Cornouaille lake when he get bored of having this life and try to gave it back to the Lady of the Lake
I love this channel and I wish I could see all this new videos you’ve been doing. Almost all of them have spoilers and I only got the game on Christmas. Anyway I’m nearly done with the story with 90 hours.
It’s a pretty impressive feat. Interestingly I would suggest that it would be solvable without knowledge of the Isu language and just with knowledge of various Arthurian related stories. The game even notes in some a number of codex issues about how all the legends (which I would suggest would be game shorthand for Isu) in England are linked to Arthur. Firstly the obvious 2 are Excalibur (Arthur’s sword) and lakes are also something of a recurring theme in Arthurian legend with the lady of the lake being a recurring character and Avalon thought to be an island on a lake in some interpretations. As a side note Avalon was said to be an island of healing and One version of a Noden like figure has the (god) figure maimed in battle losing his hand until being later healed (at a stretch you could say that the bow was a historic form of longARM but it’s a bit of a stretch) as for the timeframe of when to use Excalibur there was in the 1960s a historical fiction novel released about King Arthur called “sword at sunset” which would give you the time. I could probably unearth more links if I put some thought into it, this is mostly off the top of my head. Don’t get me wrong this approach would make it difficult to solve the puzzle (especially as there are a number of islands in lakes in England in the game) I’m mostly observing that the puzzle is theoretically solvable without needing the physical special edition version of the game which is rather impressive. I wouldn’t have thought to have done it myself either. You would also still need Excalibur’s flavour text in the game most likely as well as stumble across or be told about the indestructible ore node (and not write it off as a weird bug)

pretty sure the morrigan's guard light shiel is an isu shield. now only does it have a light in the center like most isu items have light adornments but the description says its made of a strange metal ,its found in a strange burial mound in a chest that requires 3 keys , andim pretty sure morrigan is a celtic goddess(and in fact is even listed as being an isu on the assassin creed wiki). now we need to find an isu mace,dagger ,axes of both variety ,a heavy sheild , or at the very least some armor (unless thor's armor counts,looks cool and all but just doesnt have that isu look to me)

makes you wonder how many isu weapons they put in the game first it was the sword then a bow and Thor’s hammer doesn’t have no markings on it that it was made by the isu like with engraving lines on the hammer so I’m thinking not just a bow and a sword so I like to think theirs more than one sighting since origins has an apple of eden and others would like to have at least two or three like theirs the apple of eden and the papal staff in the brotherhood game and he finds an apple of eden at Altair’s home as he is a bag of bones now that makes three isu artifacts that Ezio encountered first was the first apple he found in the second game then the papal staff in brotherhood and finally he returns again in Altair’s homeland of Masyaf in Revelations that makes two apples and a staff that got me wondering if their were another item in the game made by the isu even though those three games are entirely different games though traveling from rome to masyaf from the revelation opening makes it seem that way so I think there could likely be another isu weapon in Valhalla besides apples a staff a shroud and a spear even a sword and bow made by the isu which could be just a theory not a rumor
This is WILD! Great group work. It’s a great reminder of why I love this series. Developers putting in this kind of work and thought will keep me a fan. I have been wondering about the proper in game and proper story way to obtain Thor’s hammer. I know the where and how from other videos, but there was only mention of Thor’s hammer on Layla’s laptop. I thought maybe that clue would lead somewhere.
Do you guys have a document showing all the words you’ve translated, the rules you’ve figured out, etc.? I’d love to see one spot where all the info on the written language is neatly presented so others can work on it too.

Hey Marco, in the cartographer's hut, there are journals that talk about a shiny treasure in a small cave guarded or inhabited by a ram. The cartographer notes that he'll mark the place on a map. In the hut there is a map with a raven statue seemingly pointing to something. Do you know if this actually is something? A friend of mine suggested it is just a reference to Odyssey and the glas eye/goat scene. But, I don't know. I have searched the area the raven statue points to but I haven't found anything yet.
The way the puzzle for this norden arc bow are most exciting when you explaining on this vid. The puzzle consist, the collector edition, isu language , excalibur sword n the lake look like the map of singapore. Sadly I haven't got the excalibur yet n have done the glitch to get the bow...
I just completed the game and the whole plot is MINDBLOWING. The fact that Isu are reincarnation of the Norse Gods; Odin, Loki, etc. The fact that they brought all these weapons out during the war to fight the humans, in which they lost and had them scattered all over; Odin's Spear, Thor's Hammer, Arthur's Excalibur & Noden's Arc. The fact that all these was successfully built up from all AC franchise, especially the link with Odyssey.
Wow this is amazing. Great work! I wonder if there's any chance there's some Isu shield hiding in the world. So far we have a bow and a sword, a shield would be cool to pair with it. But Excalibur is a two handed sword so that's probably just wishful thinking

makes you wonder how many isu weapons they put in the game first it was the sword then a bow and Thor’s hammer doesn’t have no markings on it that it was made by the isu like with engraving lines on the hammer so I’m thinking not just a bow and a sword so I like to think theirs more than one sighting since origins has an apple of eden and others would like to have at least two or three like theirs the apple of eden and the papal staff in the brotherhood game and he finds an apple of eden at Altair’s home as he is a bag of bones now that makes three isu artifacts that Ezio encountered first was the first apple he found in the second game then the papal staff in brotherhood and finally he returns again in Altair’s homeland of Masyaf in Revelations that makes two apples and a staff that got me wondering if their were another item in the game made by the isu even though those three games are entirely different games though traveling from rome to masyaf from the revelation opening makes it seem that way so I think there could likely be another isu weapon in Valhalla besides apples a staff a shroud and a spear even a sword and bow made by the isu which could be just a theory not a rumor

This is WILD! Great group work. It’s a great reminder of why I love this series. Developers putting in this kind of work and thought will keep me a fan. I have been wondering about the proper in game and proper story way to obtain Thor’s hammer. I know the where and how from other videos, but there was only mention of Thor’s hammer on Layla’s laptop. I thought maybe that clue would lead somewhere.
Do you guys have a document showing all the words you’ve translated, the rules you’ve figured out, etc.? I’d love to see one spot where all the info on the written language is neatly presented so others can work on it too.

Hey Marco, in the cartographer's hut, there are journals that talk about a shiny treasure in a small cave guarded or inhabited by a ram. The cartographer notes that he'll mark the place on a map. In the hut there is a map with a raven statue seemingly pointing to something.
Do you know if this actually is something? A friend of mine suggested it is just a reference to Odyssey and the glas eye/goat scene. But, I don't know. I have searched the area the raven statue points to but I haven't found anything yet.

The way the puzzle for this norden arc bow are most exciting when you explaining on this vid.
The puzzle consist, the collector edition, isu language , excalibur sword n the lake look like the map of singapore.
Sadly I haven't got the excalibur yet n have done the glitch to get the bow...

I just completed the game and the whole plot is MINDBLOWING. The fact that Isu are reincarnation of the Norse Gods; Odin, Loki, etc. The fact that they brought all these weapons out during the war to fight the humans, in which they lost and had them scattered all over; Odin's Spear, Thor's Hammer, Arthur's Excalibur & Noden's Arc.
The fact that all these was successfully built up from all AC franchise, especially the link with Odyssey.
If ubisoft keeps giving such mysteries in assassin's creed games, I am gonna pre-purchase each time.

Wow this is amazing. Great work! I wonder if there's any chance there's some Isu shield hiding in the world. So far we have a bow and a sword, a shield would be cool to pair with it. But Excalibur is a two handed sword so that's probably just wishful thinking
