  • The Binding of Isaac: Repentance is finally here. The latest DLC of this legendary rogue-like has finally arrived and I could not be more excited for another ADVENTURE in Isaac. Repentance is a port of a fan Antibirth mod which features a ton of new items, new bosses, trinkets and changes to the game. Repentance also includes a TON of other changes, alternative paths, routes and even more never-before-seen items and trinkets!! In this one, we take a bit of a breather and complete one of the classic challenges - demo man.
Join me on this journey as we try to uncover all of the secret hidden within and as we defeat Isaac again and again.
Now that all of the SEO is out of the way, I AM SO FRICKIN' EXCITED MY BRAIN IS PROPERLY WRINKLED.

What are your thoughts on Repentance dropping support for computers that aren’t windows (Binding of Isaac & it’s first 2 dlcs weren’t only on Windows)

As someone with computer engineering background I have to say that I understand the decision to drop the support especially for Mac as some of the changes have made it really difficult to develop if you haven't been prepared for it and considering Isaac is probably built on an older engine it just makes more fiscal sense to drop support than to retroactively address it. As a player and an individual though I have to say it feels bad because some people do exclusively game on different systems (and rightly so, the monopoly Windows is frankly quite absurd) so having more options and reasons for people to stay/migrate to Microsoft competitors always seems like a good incentive to me, but alas, ultimately I think the decision that Nicalis has made makes the most sense from a technical/time/investment standpoint, even if it does suck for the players.
