None of them would be on that stage without Lucille Ball.
True. Or gene Roddenberry, Robert justman, herb solow to etc..
@nigelmurphy6761 unfortunately, do to unforseen circumstances. They were unable to make it.
I wonder if the full video of the Star Trek segment is available, just as they start to clap for Bjo Trimble this video jump cuts and that's the highlight of the whole thing, very disappointing edit
my thoughts exactly!
and look it up: please thank Lucille Ball. I was there. without her there would be no Star Trek.
Congratulations STAR TREK!❤❤❤
Wow this was really badly edited!
Get them awards an look at captain jeri ryan in the back ground , hell yea !!!’
To me, it was worth it just to see Jeri Ryan back there! Yay, Seven! :-)
Where is anyone from TOS or heck, even someone like Rick Berman to represent the most popular era of Trek?
Fortune favors the bold
I see Terry Matalas and Jeri Ryan. May we have Star Trek: Legacy please?
Yes, I’d rather have something that goes forward instead of another prequel.
How about a re-rail to establish that all the hypocritical themes, awkward advocacy, and inconsistent continuity was just Q's fever dream? Best way I can think of to reconcile all the storylines that Kurtzman has influenced.
Seems kind of hard to do with Matalas now working at Marvel and Disney.
Not thx to Kurtzman and the shitshows he helmed.
Graduations!
Well Deserved
It is horrible that this people got the award for Star Trek after the ruined the franchise to the ground. They ride on the success of Star Trek Tos and Star Trek Tng which has nothing to do with most if not all of this people on the stage, If they had any decency the give the reward back it is not their to take.
These hacks ran Star Trek into the ground.
Ethan Peck ❤🎉🎉🎉🎉
Mmm. Hot spock.
It's so great to see everyone that was there! Congrats!
Wonderful. Trek used to set trends and, indeed, the very standard for progressive programming. Now it follows problematic ones. Giving it awards will make it harder for the masses to understand how stuff like this hurts good liberal and progressive causes.
Alex Kurtzman accepting the award on behalf of the franchise is like the guy who shot your dog accepting an award for it being an awesome dog.
Gene Roddenberry was not available.
@@smshapi Shatner's still alive. George Takei is still alive. Patrick Stewart is still alive. Michael Dorn (who has more appearances than anyone else across the franchise) is still alive. There were better symbolic, meaningful options than this muppet.
@@therocketboostalso presented by JJ is like the guy jerking it on your dog
Can we get a thread going about the specific missteps Kurtzman had made? His supporters surely include many intelligent individuals. To make the point that he needs to stop, we need to show the intelligence of our case.
@@therocketboost why do you come here to complain?
Congratulations. A well deserved honor. 🖖
Terry looks skinny
Say what you like, but that was a great speech!
Okey doke, it was a bad speech.
@@therocketboost what was wrong with it?
Jesus. A franchise killer with absolutely no idea what Star Trek stood for (past tense), bereft of the talent to do justice to the lore - presenting an award accepted on behalf of a franchise killer with absolutely no idea what Star Trek stood for (past tense), bereft of the talent to do justice to the lore.
If he hadn't gone into orbit Gene would be spinning in his grave.
Gene would be spinning in his grave to see how toxic Trek fandom has become.
@@thomashong2938 Gene was pretty damn toxic... Just look up the words to the star trek theme... yeah... anyway
@@thomashong2938 sure, just stay away from children
@@nothingness863 Oh, wow. 🙄
