Yep those are the two for me also you get the hot rod 201 and the antique gold for your traditional LP if you can’t or won’t afford a Gibson . The LTD headstock is the only single cut LP style guitar that the headstock shape looks cool everyone else is trying to get as close to the open book or so far away from it that they look awkward. I love how the EC series looks like a warped open book or how the classic open book might look on an acid trip . I never really liked the EC series until this year, they had a few nice ones over the year but the single PU 201 is like a metal Jarrod James old glory and the faded antique just looks like a souped up Norlin era custom, they definitely nailed it with those two. I have a feeling they are going to have a hard time meeting demand on those two awesome fiddles .

As usual no te1000 black blast anywhere in sight? I'm starting to think it's a model the profit margin is very slim on? That would explain the lack of attention it seems to get? I'm very happy with mine and feel it's a great buy. I've upgraded the pots and went with an Orange drop cap. The treble bleed circuit I added makes the guitar way more useful. I'm think'n they could get $1200 all day for it. I did pay the full retail price for mine before the last price hikes took hold. It's listed for $1099 now. Worth every penny of the $1049 I happily payed!
@@Lupoexperience Modern wiring, as opposed to '50s wiring, sucks, because when you turn the volume down even a little, you lose all the high frequencies and it just becomes a muddy unusable mess. A treble bleed circuit is just what is says. A circuit you add to the volume pot that allows high frequencies to pass, instead of being cut by the resistance the pot has. Think of it this way, the shortest path with the least resistance will yeild the widest range of frequencies. The longer the path or the more resistance a signal sees, the darker it'll sound. If you wired the pickup directly to the output jack it would sound brighter. But you'd have no controls. All my guitars have treble bleed circuits except my Les Paul's which come with '50s wiring.

These look incredible!! I’m sure chapman and solar and baluger (I’ve forgot how to spell this) but all of the top of line imports from these have had stainless steel frets for a while.. but it’s awesome to see more companies doing it!!
I had my eye on an Epi Cantrell wino but reindeer blue finally available as an LTD EC has me second guessing knowing the neck frets and joint are all better than the wino.
I know this is a year old comment, but I have a Jerry Cantrell Wino and it's AMAZING man. I put in Seymour Duncan JB/59' pups and orange drop caps w/ treble bleed and now it's equal to any Gibson it goes up against.
That EC 201 is super cool, wonder how it’d look with one of those yellow EMG pickups in it . I’ve always wanted a single bridge PU guitar and that might be the one, but that antique gold with the full width might scratch my more traditional LP itch or at least hold me over until I can get a Tokai . I just can’t do a Gibson sorry not sorry.

Realize that this is an old video but had a question about the SN1000 fire blast. Watched other reviews but curious on your opinion. This has the 2 voice fishman moderns vs the new 3 voice. Torn between this and the schecter super shredder exotic you also reviewed. I do realize they are very different with active vs. passive pickups. Did it feel strange to not have a single coil option with the fishman pickups? Thanks!

Anderton’s get some cool limited color fenders and squires but I wouldn’t have the patience to wait for one from over seas . That’s why I’m always on the lookout for a Tokai Love Rock in the states. I need the instant gratification .
