Good work as always Dagan. It can be so frustrating for engineers like me, and the artists themselves, when the band rocks up to do a gig/tune/record and the first x hours get burnt just sorting out the guitar sounds (and noisy drum hardware). While I am also a fan of 'anything goes', I think you should at least know how to set up *everything* in a *normal* way and get the best out of that, before unleashing the rule-breaker within you too :-)
The best optimizing i've ever done, put an mxr dyna comp (level full on, sensitivity on zero) in front of your pedals/amp. Much more hifi-type presence with very little compression. Maybe not for everyone but works great for me
That’s a mighty fine Kramer voyager lightning bolt. Looks like a 81/82? Strat head too. Great video I’ve been thinking about a wireless unit even for home use. Got fed up with rolling over my cable while practicing or recording at home and sitting in my chair. Definitely thinking of the Boss unit
And for you guys that don't have soundman put a booster in the effects Loop to punch your leads I like the mini spark TC it's got a button you can push on an off or you can hold it and release it when you need a small fill lead never yell at the soundman again I need a pedal switcher that would be nice? thanks for the video ☆.
I use the joyo ps5 (the inalambric power supply) Gooooooosh what a good investment, i don't even need to plug the pedalboard to powerhouse. (One year of use, still no problems, no baterry problems noise or anything)
the Boss switcher looks nice, but if you have 14 pedals, then it's lacking. When will these people bring out a switcher that allows 20 pedals to connect?
Yep! With the Two Notes Torpedo Captor X you can run it straight into an audio interface and get the tone through your computer, or even just use headphones straight from the Captor and crank the amp! 🤯🙌
sooooooooooo.... I cant quite wrap my head around the wireless system being connect to a pedal board... wireless dongle into the guitar, I get that.. but then I guess the receiver pedal is the first thing into the pedal board chain .. with the end of the pedal board chain wired into the amp or effects loop ????
Where do you find is the best place in the chain to put a noise gate? Keep seeing conflicting view points from right at the beginning to right at the end...............
.....dumb question... if i have a multi-effects thing, like a Zoom G1X FOUR, should i plug it into the front and plug my guitar into the multi-effects, or do i put the multi-effects into the send and return on the effects loop and plug guitar into front of amp? i legit do not know. i only have an Orange Micro Dark, but i am running it to a somewhat decent 1x12 cab....
While I absolutely think digital has it's place I still think there's too much loss when you convert from analog to digital too many times. So doing an A/D/A conversion right out of the guitar, then again at every digital pedal, and if you have a digital amp, or if you have a DI, etc, etc, etc... Sorry, not interested. If there's a high quality analog solution I prefer that. Call me old fashioned, a boomer, I don't care. LOL
Just get a boss katana 100…full of effects can gig with it and switch to .5 watt for bedroom practice and save yourself a load of money buying chaff from ..pre menstrual tension

I'm American and I still watch because of Dagan's energy and I get to learn about guitars , accessories, And even more.

Experimentation of pedal orders is spot on.
....NICE!!! This is just what I needed Dagan!! Thank you kid sir. So timely!!😎😎😎
Great info for recretional/intermediate players to put to use! Thank you!
If you haven't got one get a capo even a spider capo if you want to mute individual strings. Very versatile
These are some fantastic rig tips! I've got some shopping to do.
Great A\B on the ISO power supply and beautiful b roll. Top work, Mr Wardle \m/

Loved this and learnt alot.
Thanks man, love these kind of vids…I always learn something. Cheers!
Excellent stuff as always!

Pedals in the right order?
The audience said ' EEH AWWW'.
Pedal order is completely up to the user. If you like the sound of it, then it is good.
No mention of modelling units like line 6 hx stomp, headrush gig board or axe fx etc?

There's some buzzy background noise in this video, noticed it during the bit about isolated power keeping background buzz down....
I put a wah after the tuner!
two notes sounds great- so i can connect my 100w afd head and hear it through the captor without a speaker?

@@PMTVUK couldnt he also plug powered monitors into the headphone out ? Thinking about doing that for pratice purposes
Vertex effects has two tier pedalboards
Whatever happened to the Marshall Powerbreak?

omg what is that guitar!?!?! 😎🤘
To everyone who's reading this:
You rock 🤘
I prefer using blubox from bluguitar
I know some are expandable - can this MXR power an MXR mini?
Can I use an iso box to power my headrush?
I'll swear by the fender cables til i die.
Cool kramer
I have that Kramer and it’s so much nicer in person. Sounds killer
@@leehatz4648 cool 👍
“sounds absolutely dog mints!”…Dagan ‘21
800…800? 😊

The three dislikes are from people who definitely don’t like marmite sandwiches
Is this Russell Brand?
Yes
Unlike Dagan, Russell has no talent...
optimize your rig. Step 1 buy a HELIX step 2 carry guitar and helix to gig plug into FOH be happy.
Oh ffs, another one .. sent his arms and hands to drama school ..
