Sup guys! Thanks for the view. Here are the unofficial official rules to the "Striped Bass Calissa Slam": 1. Must catch a striper on all 4 glow calissa colors. 2. Must be done in one surf session (no rollover to different days) 3. Keep in mind the legal limit for keeping is 2 fish (at least two fish must be released) 4. Go get em! 5. If you complete it, tag me on IG and I'll share it to my story!
i think these lures work a little better with a small but strong dual lock that has a rounded edge, maybe try comparing and seeing if using a lock snap vs not using a lock snap works better for these fish
ya get line twist when you reel the same time the fish is pulling drag = wind knots in brad and and unmanageable mono. are the hooks stronger than the lc 110 minnow hooks ?
Another great video, really enjoy them and I am learning a lot. I am looking to start surf fishing. What do you recommend for size and action of the rod?
My challenge is to get through the pandemic and quarantine so I can go fishing again. Mackerel and stripers will be running in my area (Northeast) within the next two to three weeks. Nice challenge bro! Stay safe!
Adam always catches fish! Badabing- badaboom! I hope you are washing your wetsuit and life vest! Had lots of fish slime! EPIC calissa lures striper catch!
Aloha sir. Just wanted to see how you like your Daiwa BG and do you think it’s worth the extra money to buy the saltist? Great channel and I love trolling my Hobie kayak here in Hawaii. Best view ever is a bent rod while pedaling. 🤙
Hey man, we are headed out Friday morning from Delmonte. Going to try to put to use some stuff I've learned from watching your videos! Hope to see you out there 👍
Awesome video, what a challenge! I'm going to get the pink! Look like you didn't move your spot and the schoolie came? I normally do move around if nothing. What you think?
Jesus Christ! How are you guys gettin' on fish on the first few casts? I just recently started using jerkbaits and I had to throw that thing like 200 times until I got something two hours later!
Hey man saw you today at Monterey dunes. I will try my sardine glow next time I go out there. 👍 it was packed there with fisherman trying to cathch strippers. Keep it up bro
Yo Sorry Adam! I had to take the fisherman “Red Pill 🔴” and experience it for myself. I must say, it felt good fighting those fish with those “Nukes”! Unplugged: Where’s my pants! 😳
I have a challenge I'd like to see you do. I watch another guys fishing channel, Joey Antonelli(?), ua-cam.com/video/xhacViRzP4c/v-deo.html but that's the link to a video of his I just saw. He uses sand fleas to catch pompano(?), but he swears that the BEST bait for pompano, is BLANCHED sand fleas. He says always keeps some on hand at home. Wanna try blanched sand fleas or Surf Perch?
Confirming all colors kill'em! I should be getting my nuclear pink by Friday! Oh baby! There gonna get it! My neighbors probably think I'm nuts. I was screaming like I was on the fish! Love it, love it, love it!!
It would be a lot better if you brought your bump board or some method for measuring the fish rather than your best guess. I think that brings some legitimacy to your chanel. Also I saw others weighing the fish by putting them in a net or bag and not hanging them through the lip. That is definitely more feasible from the land. I know you don't look like a dork by having the GoPro on your chest, but It is difficult to see anything. Is there a happy medium between having your viewers see what you see and a low level of darkness? Most of the time I cannot see anything until the fish are on the beach or in your hand. And Bada Bing Bada Boom??? I don't know about that one either. However, BEAUTIFUL Fish!. I am just trying for constructive criticism so that your channel can grow more. I am watching other anglers using the Calissa and seeing the difference between channels.
You’re catching fish because you’re a good fisherman, not because of the brand of lure you’re using. Lol being that you’re sponsored by calissa, you have to mention it every chance you you get.. it’s the same with all the other yay area UA-cam fisherman. I genuinely loved your videos but now it’s just a commercial for calissa.. I understand you gotta make your money👍🏽 thank goodness for fast forward
Ryan Schembri You can hear the drag slipping and he is still reeling in line. Every turn of the handle when the drag is slipping is twisting his line whatever his reels gear ratio is.
You should not drag the striped bass on the sand, it removes essential protective coverings from their body. The bass is in trauma from the second you hook it and needs to be released as promptly as possible. Please spend more time caring about getting the fish back into the water and less time concentrating on video time.

Die Hard Fishing you killed it again bro :)
Kinda hard to throw out all four colors out at once and harder to find a Striper that is hungry enough to eat all 4 at the same time. lol
Challenge accepted
Audiomac Audiomac jerkbait A-rig?😂
Die Hard Fishing hey man what beach is this please !?
thanks for showing some striper bass fishing on a bright day! cool presentation too
Awesome!love striper fishing...
Nice job! Killing in on the yak and the beach!
This was a dope video, you should do one with the SP minnows.
What pound test line are you using?
You got it bro challenge accepted
Go get em!!!!!
Which beach is this
@@DieHardFishing hi die hard I was wondering what the beach was called because I really want to catch a striper keep up the good vids
Hey Jun is your video up on this?
What type of Rod are you using
You make it look so easy. I wish could hit up a beach and do a little fishing but I got so many things to do around the house.
Do you feel you have to change out the hooks and split rings on the calissa like you do on the lucky craft?
Nice, thanks for sharing.
Those Calissa lures look a lot like the Lucky Craft Flash Minnows 110.
Talk about some action! Thanks for the vid!!!
Any time!
That Calissa would have killed the Stripers back in the day when places like Martin's Beach, Kelly Beach, Half Moon Bay would have big Day Smelt runs.
Its still killing it!!!
Great video. What model rod were you using?
i think these lures work a little better with a small but strong dual lock that has a rounded edge, maybe try comparing and seeing if using a lock snap vs not using a lock snap works better for these fish
Great Challenge brotha keep it going. Buenos Nachos!!!
Appreciate it!!
Right on. Do u ever use JoeBaggs, if so what color?
What a great day!! Glad to see you killing the spring striper! Keep up the great surf videos man 🌊👍🏼💯
ya get line twist when you reel the same time the fish is pulling drag = wind knots in brad and and unmanageable mono. are the hooks stronger than the lc 110 minnow hooks ?
dude what a day lol. Gotta get back in the surf soon...
Go get em bro!!!
How deep would you say those fish are when the strike?
Awesome day for you what beach were you at.
What type of rod are you using ?
Nice job your killin it with the vids! Keep it up!🐟👍
Montana beach on fire!! Everyone go there!
What kind of rod are using?
where are these beaches, from the eastcoast?
How far are you casting?
I've got that same reel. It's really smooth
hey im new to fishing and wanted to know where are some good places to fish in monterey county
Another great video, really enjoy them and I am learning a lot. I am looking to start surf fishing. What do you recommend for size and action of the rod?
Where is this at? Coming from up north in Chico. Is this Monterey? Cuz it's a long drive to get skunked with this red tide going around
Good job 👏 congrats on going full time UA-cam
great vid. i wish you could share at least one location. Live in the bay too but accessing ocean and pacifica beach isnt the same as your spots.
are you in northern cali ?
Still no pliers. I give up.....That was a really good fishing session.
Where is he fishing ?
Where is he fishing now? What is the min. for stripped bass?
Does anyone know what beaches are open for fishing?
My challenge is to get through the pandemic and quarantine so I can go fishing again. Mackerel and stripers will be running in my area (Northeast) within the next two to three weeks. Nice challenge bro! Stay safe!
Hey Adam. Quick question is the parking lot and parking around the Monterey fisherman's wharf closed?
cool video. all it needed was a good way to cook it.
Looks like you could have caught them on most any good Jerk bait that day. That was fun.
Wow dude, super hot fire! lol I just came back from the surf, now I wanna go back out there again.
I confirmed, it was nice to finally meet you. Steven
Welcome back! Good to hear you are getting out again, excited for the vid!
NICE SLAM
Never catch striper before which beach you recommend
thank brotha 💪
What rod you using? Great catches. Subscribed. Keep it up. 👍🏼
Adam always catches fish! Badabing- badaboom! I hope you are washing your wetsuit and life vest! Had lots of fish slime!
EPIC calissa lures striper catch!
Thanks bro! Definitely washing my wetsuit
Hey DieHard, would it b ok to ask what area were u fishin for that callisa challenge if u don’t mind me asking?
no one will spot burn. it's a cardinal sin.
use the paper clip snap ons to quickly shange lures without having to retie the knots...
I need to pick up some calissas. Do you leave the stock hooks on?
All these were caught with stock hooks. But I would recommend changing them out to something stronger in case a big striper takes a swipe!
Do you change the original treble hooks?
I didn't for these fish but I would recommend for sure! A big striper will destroy those hooks no problem.
Good job 👏 😃
You fishing Santa Cruz area or Monterey ?
Aloha sir. Just wanted to see how you like your Daiwa BG and do you think it’s worth the extra money to buy the saltist? Great channel and I love trolling my Hobie kayak here in Hawaii. Best view ever is a bent rod while pedaling. 🤙
Damn Dude! Sure wish I could go fishing as often as you. Keep it up. Nice fish too!
What is a good striper surf rod (relatively inexpensive) I could not find the Shimano convergence in the right size
Thomas Ducker I use the Okuma SST 8’6 M.
Is it ok to go fishing during stay home order bro ? Just to make sure no citations ,I miss the action already 👍
Slayer! My challenge is to catch my first striper.
Christian Cagurangan same!
I’ll take you.
Hey man, we are headed out Friday morning from Delmonte. Going to try to put to use some stuff I've learned from watching your videos! Hope to see you out there 👍
Have fun and good luck!
Do those lures have the weight transfer system like SP minnows and Yo- Zuri?
Yes, they do. It really helps with the casting distance.
Die Hard Fishing thanks. You’re the man slaying those fish n squid 🦑
you recommend mono leader over fluro for the float?
Na, just because it is cheaper lol
@@DieHardFishing haha right on, that is true
What about catching the same striped bass on all four lures?
Thats a challenge I might have to try
Awesome video, what a challenge! I'm going to get the pink! Look like you didn't move your spot and the schoolie came? I normally do move around if nothing. What you think?
I was doing a little searching in between bites but once I found the school then it was game on!
Awesome vid Adam! Keep up the enjoyable content! #wheresolaf?

I was out Sunday and missed the bite.
Damn dogg now thats a chalange ..houston they still close 😢
You need to take those nuclear colors down to San Onofre and fish near the nuclear plant. Would make a great video.
Its Time for the Nuke pink Halibut freezer fill fiesta . Lesser flat fish so far but there bigger
Challenge Accepted! Calissa has to finally send me the other colors first though 😒
haha, I'm sure you can do it!
super
You should remove the middle hook and crush the barbs on the other. Just catching baby bass no need to injure the fish.
Yo Sorry Adam! I had to take the fisherman “Red Pill 🔴” and experience it for myself. I must say, it felt good fighting those fish with those “Nukes”!
Unplugged: Where’s my pants! 😳
I literally just bought two nuclear green bc of this video 😂
Go get em!!!!
Now will find out they have 21 more colors to make and add to his challenge--lol
hahaha, challenge accepted!
Beaches are open?
restrictions varies from place to place. southern CA are more strict. some places don't allow non resident to be there.

Tell us where.
Otherwise you're just afraid someone might one up you.
A true fisherman knows where to go and finds his own spots

braid doesnt twist you dont need a swivel, it just adds weight
Ryan Schembri
You can hear the drag slipping and he is still reeling in line. Every turn of the handle when the drag is slipping is twisting his line whatever his reels gear ratio is.
Hope this channel doesn’t morph into an infomercial. Going full time means it probably will. Not cool
