I enjoy following your progress. It reminds me of a 13-year-old student who dreams of fighting in Thailand. In November, he'll compete in the Brazilian championship, and if he wins, he'll earn a scholarship to fight there.
Oh wow good for him. It’s great that he’s gotten into it so young. I love Brazil btw I went there with my bjj instructor when I was 18 and had an amazing time.
@@dustindoesmuaythai where abouts do you currently train?!? im from US, been training in bangkok gyms for about 2 years and thinking about stepping into the ring
@@DaveNash oh nice man. I train at Sit Thailand Muay Thai in Chiang Mai! If you're feeling good in training taking on a fight could be an awesome experience for sure!
glad to see you back! your kicks defenitly got improved. thank you for being upfront and telling about the fake loses some time. you keep giving me more motivation to come and fight in thailand and it helps me be preperd for the scene
@@dustindoesmuaythai I see 😅I like it gives it an OG vibe. Btw salute to you for sticking to fighting regardless of the long list of injuries, most people would quit.
i only have boxing experience, never trained muay thai, but i noticed a few moments in the fight where as you were slowly backing him up, he suddenly stopped backing up and came forward to land shots. Maybe planting and throwing a knee or elbow in these situations would be useful? in boxing i would either throw a lead hook as i pivot, or dip in deep and pivot out or clinch but unless they're entering with a front kick a preemptive knee looks like it would work well as an automatic reaction. to my untrained eyes at least
I think of those options a knee would work great! I just need to improve my confidence in throwing them in a fight lol. Pivoting and taking angles is a good call too. Thanks for our insight!
Dang it would’ve been interesting to see the whole fight play through. I liked the distance management from both of you. Plus he was so relaxed with his defense it was fun to watch. Good job man
I'd say your kicks are pretty solid, bro ;) Maybe you can work a bit more on setting your knees up or on switching angles on your opponent. But you're doing some quite good work here my friend ;)
Hey thanks man! Ya those are great points. Switching angles would definitely help as me moving forward like a zombie wasn’t doing much hehe. I appreciate the comment and the tips 🙏
Happy to see you back. Very short fight, but seems to me that your kicks got better - congrats! Work on throwing the jab and teeps a bit more, especially given your reach and you will be more than fine. Excited for your next fight!
I fight again in 1 week! So make sure to subscribe so you don’t miss out on what happens 😜
