Thanks for the FAQ, it answered most ofy questions including Thai Bank accounts. But the 90 day reporting needs clarification. Please make new vid with that process. Thanks!
I'd talk to immigration before assuming easy multiple entries and also 5 year duration. Immigration officers can reject entries. Many farang on all but elite visa get stopped after a few entries in a calendar year.
Helpful but it did not answer my questions. I do need some dental work done. I can stretch those 7 or 8 appointments out over the 1st 180 days to qualify for the DTV. Once I have the DTV, do I need another "reason" to come for the 2nd 180 day period ? I don't want to live in Thailand but I do want to spend 6 months per year there. Without having to worry about getting a visa or having to do border runs or not knowing when to get the return flight for. Anyone know the answer to my questions ?
Hello! If your children are under the age of 20, you can include them as dependents by filing a dependent DTV application for each child. You’ll need to provide proof that you are their parent as part of the application process.
I’m a retiree under 50yrs old, so don’t qualify for the retirement visa. DTV suits my needs, with extended medical or wellness treatment as my DTV approach. My question is: what deems to be “extended medical or wellness treatment”?
What countries in Asia can USA residents apply for the dtv visa? I am traveling in japan now and they said i have to be a resident in japan to apply. Where can i go to get a visa besides going all the way back to the usa. thanks.

Let’s wait until the first person goes 180 days…….and see if immigration extends them…they have not commented as if yet
