- The questions are, does Fethiye and Calis get the sun in winter and is there anything to do?
You will see by the video the answer to these questions is a big yes!
The tourists are mostly gone and the town is busy with Turkish people and foreigners who live all year round.
I walk the promenade of Fethiye in this video, around the shops and parks, Erasta shopping mall and not to forget Calis beach resort.
So please watch and you decide, is it a possible winter holiday away for you!
Personally i love winter here and would encourage you to try once. It is only a few days till Christmas day and it is 21 degrees celcius. Not bad at all.

Most excursions are closed but if you hire a car you can see alot when the weather's good. All the beaches are quieter, all historical sites open....trips to Antalya teal nice...busy in winter ...fethiye is busy also. Depends what you are looking for. There are still many restaurants and bars open. Hisaronu and Oludeniz are pretty much closed so really just the beaches, kaya koy ghost village is all open....free...so yes..things to see and do....buy to be honest ..to walk around town and just chill when the sun is out is good enough for alot of us in winter period. Im going to Jiva beach in may I know it’s near calis beach as we went in may this year. I used a electric scooter would I get to that shopping centre on a scooter or is it to far away

How do you get there from Calis beach front???
To Fethiye? You get a bus, 15 mins max, it's a stunning beautiful walk also, in the summer the boat taxi. Hisaronu and Oludeniz 40 mins 2 buses.
