@@endezeichengrimm for now it's an extraction shooter-like fps just to test the core of the game. They said they'll make a sandbox-fps where you can go around planets doing stuff from black ops-like operations to literal big battles. Imagine EVE Online in fps mode.

For a game like EvE that stands for being massively different from everything out there, this song feels way to main stream, especially the chorus. Yes it's catchy and well produced for sure. it looks very professional. but exactly that for me it feels like an EvE themed song from the charts.
"On Top Of The World" will be a hit on the dance floor at fanfest I am sure. maybe that is what it has been produced for. if that is the case, I'd say mission accomplished. mission accomplished very well indeed. outside of a party however, I feel that permabands style creates more of an emotional connection and reaction though. I am missing the individualism and character that permaband had.

Permaband songs are fun, have humor and people are not taking themselves seriously. for me they felt not like just songs about the video game, it felt more like the songs have a strong connection to the game if that makes sense. they all had a topic that related to the game itself like "dont give up", "friendship", "community". also it's clearly visible that they have been created for fun and enjoyment.
Just my 2 cents as food for thought. of course I am only one single individual out of thousands :)
