You can tell Seth Green really cared a lot about the show in the beginning, it's really cool to see an artist enjoy their own work, I know it's kind of cool not to watch and enjoy your own stuff so it's quite refreshing to hear him speak like that.

Its insane to me how everything ive grown up loving is 20-30 years old in the blink of an eye. And just yesterday i was like "wow its already been 10 years?!" Enjoy youth kids.
Truth. What I wouldn't give for one more day " alt J left hand free" tubing. And being young. Problem with autism age 52 is still 12 or 22.
Family guy and American dad came with me when I traveled to England Ireland Scotland, when I felt alone or lonely for the states. I watched them on loop and are part of my autistic repetitive nature.
And stay off the wacky tobacky.
It's insane to know some of these shows are still making new episodes.
7 seasons is the max number of good seasons for about all tv shows.
25 years is beyond over kill and the number of stinkers piles up while the good episodes become the one gem in an otherwise unnecessary season

@@ninjinmugen -- Well, normal-ish. It's not simply his regular voice. He does put a slight spin on it for Brian. It's subtle, but still is different from Seth's real conversational voice.

Looking at the thumbnail truly puts into perspective the amount of characters Seth MacFarlane voices in Family Guy

I’m 30. Born in 93. I’m older than South Park and Family Guy. As long as they keep making episodes I will watch them and as long as I’m alive I will rewatch them 😂.
Yeah, I remember when it was fresh, and my sister and I would impersonate the characters without having even really watched the show!
We weren't yet allowed because we were too young. Getting to watch the Thanksgiving special of South Park as kids was a great memory.
I couldn't imagine my early 2000s in college without Halo, Conan late night, and Family Guy. Fun times.
No one else caught Seth's remark at the 7:30 mark, that occurred to me, too - when Alex says that Mila was cast because she's stunning, and he pointed out that's really important in voiceover work. So glad this so has been on for so long - it's brought me and my daughter many uncontrollable giggle fits, one of just a few shows to do so.

That whole moment stood out to me in a way I dislike. Had no place that comment. It was a hater comment. Seth greens response soothed me and perhaps Mila. (Not that I don’t understand where other lady is coming from, it’s hard to put down jealousy, even when u like the person, gets harder as u get older I think too, I’m not trying to hate on her for it. But the comment had no place and it also says something about where Lois’s voice actor is coming from in life). It stood out to me 🤷♀️

Crazy that fox canceled it 3 years in and now it's one of the longest running animated programs along with simpsons and king of the hill
and South Park (which started in 1997)
And American Dad! Which has been chugging away since 2005 with new episodes... I personally hope it continues along with FG and the revived King of the Hill for as long as possible.. Even South Park as crass and stupid as it is still brings me plenty of guffaws every episode too! Well ALMOST every episode...

Seth MacFarlane always has a surprising amount of depth and wisdom, and it really is true how deeply invested and personal the cast and crew make Family Guy, which leads to some wonderful and unique 4th wall breaks.
Here's hoping for 25 more years!

It's pretty awful these days, maybe 1 or 2 episodes are good out of the 20 per season. I love Family Guy and its hard to digest that the writers in the writing room are finding any of the new stuff laugh out loud funny.
They play re runs on TV of the older episodes and they're watchable, clever and much better

Mila you’re not alone! I did not know the term muzak was different from music, though I’ve heard it before I just thought it was more of a slang or flare way to say music like saying biatch or wazzup
“Muzak” is (or was) the name of the subscription service that provided the cheesy music in elevators, hold music, etc. it was mostly crappy, soft jazz covers of popular soft rock tunes. The service would update the catalog from time to time to keep the covers fresh (I assume this was done with magnetic recordings back in the day before going digital in the late 90’s.
I was there day one watching. Me and my best friend in high school. Would quote it the next morning after it aired. When it was canceled the first time I was pissed. So happy it has continued on.
Happy 25 years to my favorite show! I started watching it as a kid in the 2000s so I almost feel old now.
You can't go a week without watching a day of family guy. To this day I'm finding episodes I missed.

1-4 was comedy gold. 5-8 was great, not as good but still funny. 9-Present is garbage.

If the show today boils down to explaining the joke then doing the joke and telling the audience the intent of the joke after doing said joke, you should've stopped right at that point. And that was around S9-10 they started to do it.
