Also make sure you get your battery tested before the winter to ensure that your car will start when it's cold out. A shovel and tow strap can go a long way to help yourself and others if they get stuck in the snow.

Stock wheels for winter tires is great. The smallest diameter your brakes will allow is even better.
Check out method racing, they have 17” alloy wheels that fit over 4&6 pot brembos for sti/wrx. I run them for winter wheels, great setup.
