Health Insurance before Medicare? Check out the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) and gov't credits

  • In this video, I demonstrate how to determine the government credits available to you under the Affordable Care Act (i.e. #Obamacare). I also review the maximum credits available for a married couple without any dependents living at home where one spouse is currently eligible for #Medicare or has #health #insurance through their employment and the other spouse is not covered. In my hypothetical example, a 62 year old husband needs health insurance to bridge to Medicare at age 65 while his spouse is already 65 and on Medicare. I examine a variety of states and locations across the United States and provide examples of the maximum credits available along with the minimum income required per household to obtain the credits.
