I loved this video and think your skin looked lovely with that foundation/skin tint on. I agree with your thoughts about decluttering discontinued makeup. I would love to see you make a series using a full face of old makeup, especially eyeshadow. It would help to inspire us to create new looks with what we have instead of creating the same all the time, or alternatively buying new palettes we don't need in order to get the excitement back

I think that foundation makes your skin look beautiful! One of my favorite looks you’ve done.

About the "old palettes" from bigger creators, i think you can compare it to going to work for a day but not getting that day paid. A video with that palette doesnt make them money, like you said. But they still need that money to lay for their lifestyle, whether that is paying bills or buying LV bags🤷‍♀️

Thank you for speaking about discontinued products. If find it almost upsetting to see beauty gurus talking only about the new things.

i totally agree with what you said about big influencers getting rid of discontinued products! i mean, if you still love the product and the only reason why you're throwing it away/gifting it is the fact that other people can't get it, it's kinda stupid. why don't you keep it for either personal use or making content about it, for example comparing it to newer products or products that are currently available? not only it seems disingenuous to preach about how you love a product and then getting rid of it just because you can't make money off it, it's also extremely wasteful. i honestly love makeup content and big collections but i find myself almost disgusted at how content creators end up buying thousands of things that they end up throwing away or keeping products that they're sent in pr that they know they won't like, when they could just not open it and gift it or donate it. idk, i feel like nowadays i prefer more genuine down to earth content that creators like you that understand that not everything can be about the money, without a care in the world about how wasteful they are with the overconsumption and the consequences of recommending millions of things to people. if you didn't love the palette enough to keep it for personal use, then don't recommend it to me.

Thank you for speaking on loved discontinued products. Idk where in YT beauty history did it go wrong and someone automatically started this trend. It's annoying!!

Iv never tried glamshop, living in new zealand shipping is just so expensive. Also yes the mentality of decluttering something you love because it's discontinued is insane to me. I don't make content but I would never declutter because of that reason

Yes! Thank you for speaking about the discontinued products/links! I agree 100% cause I use links too but like I have a lot of discontinued products as well and I use them and just don’t link them. I don’t see why that’s hard?? It legit is just about making money. I just watched a declutter and she legit decluttered EVERYTHING that was currently discontinued and it made me rage 🫠🫣
