Naturally a few things I forgot to go over - You might want to do some nm meph runs to hopefully gear up the merc a bit so he can tank better at hell meph - Off-hand for hell meph farming... start off with a lower res charges wand (quickly shopped at nm akara with a cow portal on top) and try to get Gull or Alibaba with a Milebrega shield asap - Once your gear has been upgraded a bit you can start sniping the council across the moat at meph, FW isnt ideal for this so you may consider respec to Hydra or Orb at this point - Frozen Orb and Chain Lightning both user slower casting animations with different breakpoints, for CL especially you really want to get to 78 ASAP - Early chaos farming with only ~level 30 skills I consider Orb to be much better than Blizzard simply due to how much faster you kill Diablo but you have to aim it properly, Ice Barrage is very good but needs slightly better gear than the other two to perform well in Chaos - I use 1 pt Blaze on the endgame map specs in the video but forgot to mention it. Since you dont really use teleport much on those builds the bonus to movespeed is pretty useful - Energy Shield is viable for HC on both of the endgame specs especially with a +3 ES CtA offhand. Youl just have to deal with the mana issues that comes with unsynergized ES and try to gear up for mana & mana sustain. As for the endgame spec choices for maps. Combustion, Nova and Frost Nova all have similar or higher potential but theyre more costly to put together and harder to make sufficiently tanky for maps on HC.
Well done :) great pd2 content, looking forward for more. One thing i can add, leveling with Frost Nova is way better than Blizzard in normal / early nm. Good job
Not wrong but Ice Blast/Blizzard is the best compromise for me in a single spec. Ice blast is very strong throughout normal even on players8 if you line up with monsters. As I typically respec to FW just for meph and then again for something else like chaos runs a day later this is my preferred approach so I dont spend all three respecs right away.
@@ChaosSanctuary I just like to kill density, skip high life / res bosses. I usually tp in party at league start, almost always highest level, p8 blue packs exp is so amazing
Im pretty conservative with respecs as I dont want to have to waste time farming tokens later on so I typically only play one build during playthrough without respeccing. Blizzard is the easiest skill to use overall once you get to the latter stages of nm but it can be a tad slow in normal. Ice blast (synergy) pierces through mobs though in PD2 so if you line monsters up its still reasonably decent. If youre playing solo the biggest issue with that route is normal duriel but you can either invest 1 pt in firewall or shop a +firewall staff for him specifically as its an extremely strong skill on normal diff.
@@ChaosSanctuary Damn. I personally like the lightning three a lot and have been investing in it. Charged bolt in particular (I am level 14) as it seems super strong for mobs. I also invested a few points in the cold three for defensive purposes (freezing/slowing enemies). I know that I will hit a wall with lightning at some point in NM/Hell but I plan to invest in fire at some point, too. I hate the cold three...
Great guide! Great job. My sorceress died at lvl 98 a few days ago xD In the late game I like barrage much more than fo or blizzard. More damage and no need to get 117 fcr in the case of FO . By the way, I died almost as soon as I switched back to FO for a more comfortable push in a pair xD. What do you think is the best spot for farming at the start of the season? According to my feelings, it doesn't make much sense to farm meph or cs cause in that case you are more dependent on randomness. imo more profitable to just farm the keys(especially If you're playing a sorceress). This gives a much faster and more stable income for further progress.
It depends on just how early in the season youre talking about. Unslammed uniques from meph & diablo like shako, arach, stormshields can sell for a lot of value on HC in the first 48-72 hours of a new ladder. Once youre past that window it starts to make more sense to focus on other stuff like runes. I never do keyfarming outside of maps, would rather focus on runes and charms from arcane then.
Sorc is more flexible than the other arcane builds in that sense. I would still prefer to stick to flatpath just to be able to line monsters up more easily for lightning. Once you start to have good damage and only use chain lightning it becomes less of a factor. I think flat path has slightly higher density overall as well cause of no obstacles on the map though.

Invaluable video , thanks so much
+1... top tier guide man. So much good information here!

thank u sir, u are hero to us all
On the sorc farming for torch what build would you recommend and how do you know you ready for it? Same question for dclone?
Hey, any tips as to which skills to use for the playthrough and how/when to use the respecs?

Good stuff!
What builds do you use for progression?
As mentioned at the beginning I typically always go ice blast into blizzard.
Good stuff!
What are the recommended maps?
PD2 game changes mentions that andariel uses the same loot table as mephisto and baal. What's the point of farming mephisto?
If you choose to go the arcane farming route early, do you only do the flat path or do all of them?

how do you respec like that?
I don’t think we can fast shop larzuk as quickly anymore, PvP arenas are moved to A1 for S8 :(
Correct but hell charsi also sells crowns and great helms so no difference in this case
