- In this video I answer the second most common question I get asked followed by, "what do you do for a living", "how much does insurance cost for my Lamborghini?"
I also bring in my insurance broker who has insured all of my cars to discuss other popular questions, myths, and rumours about car insurance and insuring supercars.

Speaking of mods, I didn't want to flex but... I have a 2015 Golf TDi, short throw dip-stick, high flow blinker fluid, with egg nogg direct injection into cylinder bank one, and to top it off, led lights in a halogen housing to blind on-coming traffic. Top that anyone... I'm waiting...

Oh, here's another myth that many people think holds weight. If a car has backseats the insurance will be less. Having backseats makes no difference whatsoever.
Never would have thought the most expensive one was that one!

It's always interesting seeing all these insurance videos from different people. Its funny because I had came across the stradmans recent video of him going over all the insurance payments for each of his cars and he pays $4124 a year for his Aventador which is hell of a lot more than you pay for your (better) SV AND it's in USD. I guess insurance will always be a magical concept
Yes exactly. But I also do have quite a bit of real estate insured with this broker as well, but under a different company. He said because of this the premiums wouldn't matter all that much maybe a difference of a couple hundred dollars. But I do have a clean driving record now 😁.

I heard a aventador sv with an armytrix exhaust start and it shakes the ground you feel that in your bones almost its crazy your absolutley right about that lol
Armytrix isn't the loudest I've heard, but definitely loud.

You should see an Aventador with the Star Dropper exhaust. Your neighbours would probably hate you though.
I would bet mine would be louder. The pipes are straight through with no catalytic converters. And it's titanium which resonates more because the metal is thinner and harder.

I definitely prefer the SV over the performante. I find the biggest difference is the SV feels more raw and more of an experience. It's louder, bigger, more of a presence on the road, and gets more attention. However, with this performante spec it may soon be the other way around attention wise.

Idk who is stupid enough to tell their insurance that they modded their cars they just take the risk of losing the value of the mods in an accident
They will cancel your insurance as well if you so not tell them. It's in the contract that if you do not disclose changes they have the right to waive coverage or cancel.
