- St Francis Bay greeted us with a smile, as did everyone at the Links. We embraced the incredible hospitality and couldn't stop smiling as we experienced what can only be described as "golfing heaven".
Jeff Clause and his team are redefining what it feels like to visit top-tier courses and no matter what skill level, every golfer is made to feel welcome at the Links.
The Jack Nicklaus Signature designed course needs very little introduction. As far as the golf part of the experience goes, it's one of our favourite tracks in South Africa.
Watch as Steve, Stirling, Jacques and Lino engage in a fierce battle for the W and showcase all that this amazing establishment has to offer.
We hope that you enjoy watching Episode 2, as much as we did making it!`
Great stuff gents. Look forward to a round together in the future 🤝
quality mate. great vid
Proper course. Played there first time this year... really immaculate. With my fade played in my wheel house
The short right miss is okay around there!
@@BumpnRollGolf will be awesome to do a 2v2 against you guys 😁
I played St Francis _Bay_ back in 2005 or 2006, I didn't take golf very seriously then. When I go down to the garden route again I'd like to play the Links. It looks stunning
Lekker Jacques! Great editing gents
Thanks Petri! 👍
Super well made 🙌🏼
Brilliant Steve, well captured.
Thanks Nick! Appreciate that sir!

Love it! ... Can't wait for more Garden Route Courses. Please play Pezula!
Thank you, Samuel. We intend to keep moving up the Garden Route, for sure!
This is a great channel. Hope you guys are still producing content?
Hi Drew,
Thank you! We are. We have a video dropping next week of the beautiful Glendower!
For *Any* Garden route tour - St Francis Links cannot be missed for the quality of the course that must be matched by quality ball striking...
... the following are some of the characteristics that St Francis Links offers _As do the other Quality Garden route courses_
1. Chess Board Mindset (position on the fairway & position on the green)
2. Individual Fairway character - be it slope, hazard, blind spot, downhill/uphill - every fairway has "something" to conquer.
3. Multiple "Signature" Holes - that bring you back to the course (four players in the same four-ball :: will document four separate "Signature Holes")
4. Alternating wind directions (even though the course layout is two large circles - two consecutive holes could have vastly different wind directions
5. Unique pin positioning that changes the course layout dramatically { even includes a Par three with Two Green choices }
6. Obviously the High Standard of Clubhouse, Views, Reception staff, Pro Shop etc.
Overall St Francis Links is a "Never to Forget" experience.
Amazing insight - thank you, Atholl!
I know it is hard with a small team but what I would like to see in the future is a camera on the player (as duly are doing) and at the same time a camera at the green so we see the approach land and when it’s close a cut back to the camera covering the player so we get the reaction. If the person at the green with the camera throws some commentary then so much the better.
Also, it would be cool to know the state of the game as you go along so that we can watch each shot and know it’s significance.
All that said, the footage of the course is amazing and it really makes me want to go play there. Keep up the excellent work.
Noted, but that's not what these videos are for, these are course features. We will be doing course vlogs in the future, where things like approaches and score matter more.
Thank you for the feedback, stay tuned for the vlogs! 😁
@@BumpnRollGolf 👍 sounds good.
