In a first thinning with a rubber tire cutter do you think as you cut your rows too or cut rows then come back and thin? I come back and thin my rows but I want to start thinning as I go
It just depends, I like doing everything as I go, when I’m done with a row I’m done. Some like coming back so they can thin from the back....guess it’s really just preference of the operator. I’ve never thought of myself as a “good” rubber tire hand though lol so I may be doing it wrong 😂
Awesome footage from head... Makes total sense to zip all one side the down other.. amount of time swinging boom back and fourth you can be whacking trees. 😁.. yay delimber is fix be nice to it 🤣🤣🤣
Hi Thomas, Another good video. I like your commentary I learn stuff about southern logging. Doesn’t matter southern or northwestern logging, y’all work hard for your money. I have a forestry question. Does your company foresters fertilize the recently planted seedlings within a few months after planting? Always enjoy watching the machines. Best always......
Great vid. 853M is stout and the go pro is living dangerously.
The cutter head shots were cool. That head really performs in first thinning size wood!
Great Video!
Thanks Much!!
Doesnt cutting the wood and running directly over it damage the wood? Why not put it further off to the side? I saw one tree snap in half!
👍👍👍❤
