Great video 👍 Thomas. I live in north central Arkansas and the sweet gum not planted at all but will grow naturally very well. In my area they cut both sweet gum and black gum for pulpwood, pallet lumber, and cross ties.
We have a sweet gum farm just east of us in east Carroll parish of about 500 acres. It is about ready to harvest. Also got a comment on your shirt today. Guy said who is that. I showed him the channel. He loved it. Should be subscribing
Big Fam, get the videos out when you can. When you are the business owner, make sure the company stays afloat and the rest doesn't even matter. But I enjoy the content as it comes out.
Another great video. Thanks for taking us along with you. That was a brushy mess you were cutting in. Glad you all had a good week.

Hell yea!
I had some timber cut about 15 years ago and the sweet gum brought more per ton than the pine pulp wood.
That looks like a Amazon jungle in there but great work for a three man crew
I live in north Mississippi and I haven't seen any plantation sweet gum in our parts
