Stalker does not run fine at all. You might say 4060 is trash, but I run every single game high graphics. dlss quality with frame gen in towns. I'm getting 50-42fps. Even with the requirements of 4060 in medium preset, I still get 50-40fps, and I have a 5800x3d. Which is a great cpu still for gaming at night in this game . I'm getting worse, frames. Silent Hill, 2 remake lords of the fallen run amazing on high graphics for me. you might say oh the vram limit," but I still have plenty of Vram left to play on high settings, same with medium settings and low settings. Epic settings is the only one that doesn't work because of the vram limit

@@jayking33497 a lot of people have 4060 on steam yes the graphics card is bad it underperforms and it was overpriced for what it delivered when it launched same goes for 4060TI 4070TI those are overpriced graphics cards that underperform and yes 8gb of vram is not enough for gaming the 4060 even at 1080 isn't build to play games at the highest settings that's why more people on Steam have an RTX 3060 with 12GB vram if you played silent hill 2 Day one it was running worse than stalker 2 day one same for lords of the fallen. Lords of the fallen had one year of patches silent hill 2 also had a few patches and it's stuttering less now and both consume less vram than stalker 2 because they aren't open wordls like stalker 2 and let's not forget stalker 2 is build during war it's obviously not gonna be perfectly optimized it has bugs it needs optimization it's CPU limited and the reason your having problems because it's very GPU heavy and your running out of vram because your trying to run epic settings reduce texture settings. Stalker 2 it's far from unplayable buggy mess like cyberpunk Day one that's nonstop stuttering like wild hearts like jedi survivor like hogwarts legacy like dragons Dogma 2 Day those where far worse performing games Day one people need to give the developer some slack they delivered this game while being bombarded by rockets in Ukraine by Russia and yesterday i played more of the game i did one of the main missions and it was running just fine it's not as bad as people claim people are being negative and bash everything nowadays

@@jayking33497 do you have 32gb of system ram game eats a lot of system ram i have seen 19gigs At 4k on my second AMD rig. Sadly Nvidia has no competition and doesn't make the entry level most popular 60 class GPUs good anymore i doubt the 5060 is gonna be better than the 4060 the 306012GB is like the last good 60 class GPU there's a few months away from the RTX 5000 series i suggest you upgrade to a GPU with a lot of vram and if you don't have 32gb of system ram if you have 16gb system ram that is also not enough for gaming and could cause you issues

@@jayking33497 maybe your trying to run 1440p with medium settings and the RTX 4060 is a 1080p GPU unreal engine 5 nanite feature gets heavier the more you increase resolution what resolution are you at you gotta use DLSS super resolution upscaling get to 60 FPS and make sure you don't drop below 60 FPS and with rivia statistic tunner lock your FPS to 60 with Async and you will have a smooth frame time graph as long as you maintain 60 FPS the other thing you can do is get to 60 FPS and use DLSS Frame generation your CPU is great so you shouldn't have any CPU bottlenecks the problem is your GPU bottlenecked the game is too heavy on GPU as well so you gotta optimize not only your settings but your resolution you can't just wack everything to Epic at native resolution and expect the 4060 to become a 1440p GPU because i bet most gamers that have the most popular GPU on steam like you want to wack everything to ultra epic cinematic or increase the resolution to 1440p when they should aim for 1080p medium or high settings depending on the game or a mixture of medium high settings using upscaling

@raiosroguegaming I have 16gb of ram, and I know the 60 series isn't good anymore. I'm upgrading to a 7700xt before monster hunter wilds, but 4060 should not at least be doing this bad. I know it's a low tier card, but it handles it way worst than low tier cards.

@raiosroguegaming I'm running 1080p since I know 1080p dlss frame gen is for this gpu. Maybe this game, I have to mix up the settings. Maybe this is one game I just can't run on all high settings. But it is playable, my old gpu Rx570 would not run it at all, lol if I still had it

this is one of the most embarassing videos I've seen in a while lmao. I'm sorry but I couldn't help it. The game doesn't run great. And it has a lot of bugs. The atmosphere is absolutely phenomenal and I love the game so far but bad performance and bugs are very much present and I wouldn't recommend anyone to play the game in this state. Just wait another year or two I'm sure the developers will get it where it needs to be and they certainly should be proud of what they've delivered so far.

@@ViktorVelkov the game is playable and it runs fine with a good GPU and CPU as i demonstrated in the video of course it has bugs of course it needs optimization but you can play it right now no problem i can't say the same thing for other triple aaa games day one like cyberpunk dragons Dogma 2 hogwarts legacy wild hearts jedi survivor and if your CPU is slower you gonna run into more stuttering and CPU bottlenecks if your GPU is slower you gonna run into GPU bottlenecks stalker 2 is extremely heavy on both CPU and GPU and it eats more GPU vram and CPU system ram than other unreal engine 5 games because it's an open world if you don't have minimum 16 of GPU vram or 32gb of system ram your experience is not gonna be good what's embarrassing is you recommending to wait 1 or two years to play the game we don't need to wait that long because the game Day one is not in such a bad state as the other games i mentioned

@@raiosroguegaming Yes, it's playable and on high end pcs it even runs great I would say, with some stutters which are unfortunately pretty normal for UE5 but it's not the worst we've seen. I still think the game feels VERY unfinished, similar to how CP2077 was. CP2077 ran great on high end hardware, the issues were mainly on mid-lower-end pcs and consoles but the game also felt unfinished back then. So yes, I think waiting another year until the game is fleshed out would be worth it, since I do really think the game underneath all those bugs is really good!
