Cartier doesn't need to give away the Love bracelets for publicity.. They are their bestsellers and are still the most sought after pieces. And they are one of their cheaper ranges..
I was obsessed with those cartier bracelets when britney used to rock them around in 2006-2007😂❤ never got around to buying them though it was (and still is, to me) very expensive! Haha
If they can't authenticate their own stuf, it means they use the same production methods as the fake ones. High quality should be recognizable to experts. It says alot about them...
Got mine from my jeweler. 18kt and was only $2500 back in 2016. I love it and had no intention of reselling so it not being authentic Cartier doesn’t bother me 1 bit
No piece of jewelry besides a well taken care of and sought after watch will really hold its value period. You’re wearing it, scratching it up, which is what you’re meant to do with jewelry you’re supposed to enjoy it. However buying jewelry as an investment is a bad idea in itself 🤷🏼♀️
I work at a pawn shop and she is 1000% correct. I do not buy these even if they test real because it's so hard to tell when it's real and a fake and we get in trouble if we buy fakes so to be safe we just don't buy them at all.
The 8k gold that's like 100 dollars worth of gold on the stock market, and the sell it with 14.000 dollar where's the worth? Got the Replica of 14 k gold for 150.
I don't understand why 18k are so expensive in North America and you can get 22-23k for the same price in India. People are getting fooled go to South Asiaaaaa if you want real gold
I have a cartier bracelet that is 21 k gold and i can resell it even for more of what i paid, because its a replica made by a goldsmith in our gold bazaar 😂, so mine worth more than real cartier (everyone here where i live buy real gold of designer jewelry that never loses value)
True. They never authenticated them-EVER. If someone says they have they most likely aren’t real. Most places don’t authenticate. They want you to purchase directly from them.
I make 8 figures (from being broke) but I imagine myself when I was struggling and always say darnit... I wish I knew you then because I definitely. made some silly mistakes in luxury 😅
It's not worth buying any brand names as they're overpriced & the gold is worthless from 14-18 carat gold. We Asians only believe in 22-24 carat gold..as they maintain their value & can be resold for value you bought or higher except that golds.iths would charge you a fee for repricess them..
Uhm, actually, their resale value is still up there. I work for a marketing company and one of our clients resell luxury items. Depending on the condition (minimal signs of wear) the resale price is still a few thousand dollars per piece. And it costs more when you can prove that it used to be owned by a celebrity. So, if you ever get sick of them, secondary luxury resale markets like The Real Real will still buy them from you for a decent price. HOWEVER, if you don’t care about authenticity and just want a replica (I personally love the Love collection’s simple design) buy real 18k gold pieces made from Hong Kong gold. Their replica is 99.9% similar. The pieces made from 18k Saudi gold are okay but side by side to the real bracelet, there’s a significant difference in quality.
Cartier may not know the difference but the people frontin’ in fakes know and that’s all that matters. People who pay the real money are getting more than just a bracelet, they are getting an experience, and also the services that come with the item. Plus, none of the luxury retailers are going to take time to authenticate your swap meet fakes. That’s not their job. If you want the real thing, buy it from the store. If you’re happy with a fake, that’s fine, but no need to drag the real store or their value into it.
Gold value is still good ppl… 😂 even if the trend is worn out don’t mean that money worn out! Sell them or melt them down to make something else. But a little known fact ppl, Kylie most likely didn’t buy those bracelets, they were given to her to rock and let her keep them! Cartier most likely asked her to wear them so they get more sales
My 13 year old daughter has a rose gold one from Cartier given to her as a gift by her dad. I don’t even have one 😩but I do own a few pieces from Cartier one of them is the panther ring with diamonds, sapphire and emerald only 3 made in the world😬
Calling a Love bracelet worthless is wild. If she sells them, she’ll make her money back, and maybe even a profit. Love bracelets, along with most luxury items, go up in price at least once a year. Let’s say someone bought theirs 10 years ago, and they decide to sell it now, they will make a profit, unless they completely ruined their bracelet. However, I do agree that the many fakes have tarnished the Love’s reputation. As much as I like the bracelet, I won’t get one because of that reason, and I’m sure many people feel the same way.
@@bigdome9322 a lot of people are buying the bracelet, from Cartier and trusted resellers as well. The source of this video is a random tweet. To me that tweet seems like someone bought a fake one and is making stuff up to convince herself that it’s just as good as the real thing.
