Did you have to reroute any of your cables and to get that bar end off you should’ve put a rag or something in between the vice grip so you didn’t damage the bar end
I just bought a 2023 and ordered the honda mini's. Haven't installed yet as they seem like they would be much lower than stock. What is your feeling on the riding position vs stock bars? Keep in mind I'm older than dirt
@@codyfiveoh Installed this past weekend. I have to say that I love these bars. Seating position is just about perfect for me. I was on the fence but you were correct, just pull the trigger.

I used a allen key to get them off. Thankfully I only stripped one and it wasn’t bad. Maybe get the Allen’s that attach to a socket wrench so you have more torque. If they are stripped too much, you’ll have to buy an allen bolt extractor
@@rshaunadventures If you change the grips, I’d just cut the old one off the throttle tube so it’s easy to switch to the new bars. It’s a pain to get the grips off

No I didn’t have to reroute any of the cables. I wasn’t worried about messing them up, not using them again
I just would like to know what is the need to drill holes on the new handle bars ???
It’s so the controls don’t move around. They have holes on the stock bars for the same reason

They are actually not too much lower compared to the stock ones. I prefer the riding position of the minis over stock but everyone is different

Yo how’d you get the mirrors to go the bar end is to big on my bar end mirrors but don’t know what to use to get ‘em in
Did you get the correct size for your bars? Should go in pretty easily
What size are the puig bar ends?
They are 7/8”
question how do i get the throttle to say in place i have everything else done but the throttle will slide off the right
It should stay in place when you tighten the ignition switch down to the handle bars
@@codyfiveoh i don’t need to plug the end ?
@@AndresCalderon-s8r no mine is open. Once the ignition switch is bolted down it shouldn’t move
Hey so I can’t seem to get the screws holding the bar on, with the allen key. They just keep stripping. How where you able to get them off?

Do I have to change the throttle tube & grips when using these bars ? I just bought a 2023 Grom.
No you don’t. You can use the ones off the bars that come on the bike
@@codyfiveoh okay cool. I think I’ll change the grips but leave the throttle tube the same

No they don’t
