I visited SF for 7 days in December 2023 after spending a few months reading negative news about SF to attend a concert at chase centre. SF is a very beautifull city with many very nice neighbourhoods and does not deserve the bad views.
I LOVED living in SF during college. The food is amazing and the city’s culture is beautiful. The Tech bubble really changed the scene and the Gov there really needs to do their jobs. It’s so sad.
There have never really been too many tech companies in SF, they are all down here in Silicon Valley, hence the name. 🙂Also tech isn't a bubble, Silicon Valley has been going strong since Hewlett-Packard was founded and shows no signs of going away any time soon. If anything, it's becoming more important. The Android OS and the iPhone both come from Silicon Valley; whenever someone buys a cell phone or an app, or makes a purchase through a mobile app, we get a cut down here in SV. 🙂 SF's downtown has less foot traffic because of working from home and shopping from home, and the pandemic lockdowns accelerated that. But brick and mortar retail was never one of main sources of prosperity in SF, and it's still doing great. Again, ya'll are really making us want want to visit San Francisco with all that incredible food (and 10AM beers 😜). We couldn't help but notice that cute lil pup' on the hill, staring at you guys in the background, during that driverless part portion of the video..I was just like, "WHO'S DOG IS THIS? I WANT HIM". Glad he had a cameo..hahaha. That self driving car is insane..that's some Fifth Element stuff right there! 😂
Stop with the desperate toxic positivity propaganda. I'm a lifelong resident and can tell you that this city is NEVER going to fully recover. You can be in DENIAL ALL YOU WANT, but that doesn't change the fact: The greatest income inequality and rates of homelessness among any major city. Most people are struggling, and the tech bros/fintech/professional managerial class - have destroyed the native middle and working classes. Had I not inherited some wealth, there's no way I would be able to stay. TOXIC NEOLIBERAL ECONOMIC POLICIES AND TOXIC PROGRESSIVE JUDGES AND DISTRICT ATTORNEYS HAVE ONLY ACCELERATED THE PRECIPITOUS DECLINE.
My priest said he was robbed in San Francisco. They broke the windows to his car and took his backpack. When he called the police to report it they said there was nothing they could do. I was there ten years ago but no way I'd ever go back.
" My priest said he was robbed in San Francisco. They broke the windows to his car and took his backpack." This is not a violent crime. Just property damage. There's very little violent crime in SF.
is not urban legend, I live in that area, and in the past 12 years, its gotten worse and worse and worse, ... say what you want, I'm counting +5 windows smashed, you must be in the $$$$$ parts and paying $120 to park your car for the day, or $10k for rent, try walking at night past 6pm, ......, have you gone up to twin peaks ... the trash .. broken glass... , ya...
I was there in May. Stayed near the convention center and took buses (Clipper card) to most of the tourist areas while my wife attended a convention. I had no problems and we had a great time. When i told that to my Fox watching friends, they called me a liar!! LOL!
Haha it is hard to believe if you only watch the media. Living in SF and watching how the news reports the city is definitely an interesting experience. Of course the problems are very real, but there's so much more as well.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 funniest video I have ever seen about SFO. Not based in reality. It’s beautiful city for tourists, until they get robbed, car broken into, harassed by mental patients/drug addicts on streets. And the stench of the city is appalling. If you go to the ritzy areas, of course the city is nice, but take a trip down market street, the tenderloin, the Mission, Excelsior, Hunters Point, Sunnyvale, and see what’s really going on in SFO. These fluff pieces do nothing to stop the plight of people on the street, the small business fleeing the city, the assaults, the robberies, the open air drug markets, the tent cities…if you ain’t part of the solution, you are part of the problem, and painting the city in a beautiful light is detrimental to solving the serious problems the city has!
@@thesynthguy_1428 But it’s a reality that residents see everyday. These videos trying sugar coat all the urban decay in San Francisco are giving a fake impression to tourists, that the city is completely safe and clean.
@@ivandragomiloff2356 its a travel guide, these kinds of videos are the kind to highlight what to see/do, not exactly point out “heres where the crime drugs homelessness is”
@@thesynthguy_1428 Some videos are like that, merely tourist guides, but this and a few others had a definite subjective vibe, that would lead foreign tourists to believe that San Francisco is completely safe and a wonderful place, when we know in reality it is not. UA-cam videos and creators should not mislead unsuspecting foreigners!
Lived in SF for 22 years, saw it getting gutted with my own eyes. You have to be 100% woke in your blood, nails, hairs, and be rich, and love to live in a dumpster. A LOT of criteria's, and I don't qualify anymore. Back in the times, if you where a level headed realist business man, SF was a paradise, now they hate you.
too many drug addicted and homeless people livin in San Francisco not only that it is so damn expensive to live too i wonder why so many stores in San Francisco closed down their store for good
Putting on a brave face ;). We know you will run home at sundown for dear life. And every morning you walk to your car you pray the windows weren't shattered. And in your entire life you have never set foot in Bayview/Hunters Point.
😂😂the fact that she’s just being bias about all the problems and issues are beyond me.Mind you because I’m so good at once gifting everything it’s a reason why she has to edit this video because she cut out a lot of things that would have been seen don’t edit shit just record yourself and the city and upload. This is what I’m talking about your not giving people authenticy your giving is bullshit🤔what we find from most UA-camrs😅.Like this edited bull crap I mean I peeped that from the beginning of the video less than 30 seconds in.

Been years ago. I hear that crime post-pandemic has gone nuts with car break-ins, store robberies resulting in retailers closing locations, homelessness, high rent…and I think part of it is SF and Cali in general is compared to Florida and Texas by right leaning pundits as a place that is broken due to left leaning policies. I know that I look forward to visiting Cali again.
San Francisco unfortunately has a lot of problems. At the same time, it is a very nice place to live. We've called it home for the past 7+ years and have really enjoyed it for the most part - the video shows some of the highlights.
If you're a progressive person that feels all big cities have their problems, you'll probably like San Francisco. If when you hear about crime, you think that I sure hope they don't punish that person with jail because they only stole the items because they never got a fair shot at life, they came from a marginalized background and we can't revictimize them with jail time, well, then you'll like San Francisco. If when you see homeless tents on the street in front of your neighbor's apartment building you think, I'm not surprised there are homeless with the high costs of rents, and you feel that they shouldn't be forced into housing because it didn't meet their particular needs, then you'll like San Francisco. If when you see block after block of vacant store fronts you think wow everybody is buying stuff online now and working remotely, this is the new normal and I guess I'll be able to watch San Francisco reimagine itself into something new, well, you'll like San Francisco. If when you see garbage all over the street, human waste and waste from dogs that people have walked in the middle of the sidewalk and think it must be hard to keep a big city clean, well, then you'll like San Francisco. Every community has their own culture based on the rules they set and the tolerance they allow, San Francisco is no different. What you see here is based on the culture that this particular community wants and has built as their idea of the perfect community. It may not be for everyone, but the vast majority like it as a place they call home!
This city is spiraling into chaos. And all you can post is some oyster bar & driverless cars. What a joke! Crime is rampant. Massive store and office closures downtown.
Never step foot in the Gideon states since the pandemic use to go there so much to enjoy the food, so much beautiful places to see never step foot in it again due to crime rates don’t want to take a chance on that I hope the golden states bounce back! Thanks for this love ỉt! 😎
How much did that first meal in the video cost all up? SZ and BJ already have driverless cars. Its no longer a trial. Also the so-called Chinese food you showed is actually just Tim Sum. Yes its yummy but its "just breakfast" and just Cantonese food. Yes Cantonese food is some of the greatest within Chinese food. There are 8 very broad cusine styles that you call Chinese food. It CAN be very spicy. You just haven't experienced it. I think you do a great job making almost any place look great on video. You have a real talent for that. The editing is great too. I for one wouldn't come to SF, let alone many parts of Amerika for obvious reasons. Chief among them is the issue of lack of safety and the unpredictable violence, not to mention the racial profiling and overt racism at the border check points in places like LAX. Its reflective of the country as a whole. And have I said its very expensive aka a rip off? Also the crime and druggies on the streets.... there's just too much. No way I'll come to amerika.
Thanks for watching! I think you'll find that many sides can all be accurate at once. These nicer ones as well as the sides we hear about in the media.
I lived in SF between 2014 - early 2021. I left because the city completely fell apart. I still visit for 1-2 weeks at a time every quarter. While things are better now than in 2020, it's still a dangerous place at times. All of my female colleagues are scared to commute to our downtown office; especially if they have to head home on BART at night. The recent APEC conference showed that the authorities could quickly fix things but they don't want to. I have theories why. Anyhow, I do like your videos but hope you are consciously aware that overselling a destination's good qualities, and not being realistic about the bad ones, can put the lives of others in jeopardy.

Nietzsche is the best! We wish he could be in every video.
@@DotsonaMap If we make it to San Francisco some time, I hope you guys will be around for drinks and adventures. It seems like such a fun city!
@@wherearewe-yt Absolutely!
great video so glad to see a positive look at a great and beautiful city
Yes, another sf vlog!!! ❤
Thank you for sharing - I will always love this city!
I personally prefer to call it "Frisco" rather than "San Francisco". it's short, quick and easy.
My priest said he was robbed in San Francisco. They broke the windows to his car and took his backpack. When he called the police to report it they said there was nothing they could do.
I was there ten years ago but no way I'd ever go back.
That just sounds like police no matter where you go.
Unfortunately, theft is rampant and a big problem in SF.
"
My priest said he was robbed in San Francisco. They broke the windows to his car and took his backpack."
This is not a violent crime.
Thank you for showing my city. It is not perfect but it is beautiful and we still love it. With all of her flaws.
No I got it right. And I will not every go for plenty of reasons you did not mention.
Amazing!
Hunters point and sunnydale are out of the way for tourists lol
@@ivandragomiloff2356 what, the intro and outro? youre blowing steam out your nose over 1 and a half minutes of that?
My partner wants to know your birth date as in Astro
Lived in SF for 22 years, saw it getting gutted with my own eyes. You have to be 100% woke in your blood, nails, hairs, and be rich, and love to live in a dumpster. A LOT of criteria's, and I don't qualify anymore. Back in the times, if you where a level headed realist business man, SF was a paradise, now they hate you.
SF sucks from a long time resident lmao dont try to sugarcoat it
too many drug addicted and homeless people livin in San Francisco not only that it is so damn expensive to live too i wonder why so many stores in San Francisco closed down their store for good
Move out!!!!!
go to indonesia..🇲🇨👍
iPhone was designed in Cupertino not SF.
its true because Apple headquarters is located in Cupertino next to San Jose
Putting on a brave face ;). We know you will run home at sundown for dear life. And every morning you walk to your car you pray the windows weren't shattered. And in your entire life you have never set foot in Bayview/Hunters Point.
The people who go to Bayview/Hunters Point are the people who live there. Its not a place where tourists should go to.
Why are people wearing masks?
maybe they just dont want to get sick? Its their own personal choice whether to wear one or not.
the only time I drive to San Francisco from Stockton just to watch the Golden State Warriors game that’s all I do in San Francisco after the game is over I drive back to Stockton 209 😃
謝謝你的影片 我也來自台灣(一半台灣一半韓國) 我在舊金山已經住了超過10年 還是很喜愛這個地方
I live here. It’s beautiful!❤

San Fran is an embarrassment, period.

Beer on an empty stomach😜
Was in a silly goofy mood 🤪
It’s kind of like having some of the most prime real estate in the whole world and just letting it go to hell.
Sounds like a sponsored video. Meh.
Swan oyster depot is the most overrated restaurant in SF. Completely bland and overprice.
Sorry you had a bad experience there. We had a great one :)
everything is a rip off in California
You are very misinformed! Apple is near San Jose! Facebook is also on the peninsula!
Your Tourism SF video is nice but not accurate. Visiting SF van be a disturbing for many these days.
@@robertwerner6208u know why its because she just dont wanna walk around tenderloin and make a video about it let people see the bad side of San Francisco
