Wow I feel so dumb I have installed several of these exact doors and never knew they had that adjustment, thanks so much for the video.GOD BLESS YOU GUYS
Why didn't you show the hanging of the sliding door? It is one of the most important parts of the assembly and also very delicate maneuver to avoid the glass shattering!
Looks great! Not trying to be knit picky but whenever you drill holes on the bottom tile you should throw a little bit of silicone in there for insurance.
Great vid on the shower door install. question the seals on the door bottom and the door edge. How are they situated. sweep Seal goes to the edge of the door and the door edge seal just butts to the top of the sweep seal OR…. Do they overlap in some matter
Thank very much for your nice demonstration. Please I have question about Costco shower kit, (ove 60'' X32'' Del Rey model), I installed base and with 1/2 drywall + waterproof membrane + 1/4 ceramic each side, I loose my 60" to install door bar? Thank very much
Isn't there any pressure mounted shower doors? There were some once upon a time ago that are great if you have tile. This video shows it's tile however what are the effects if the tile's 20-years old or what happens to this 20-year old tile when it's 50-years old?
If you are having an installer do the work, make sure they get the orientation of part M (the guide) correctly. Our guys, installed it the wrong way. And as a result that semi-clear sealing strip you attach to the bottom of the sliding door wouldn't fit. In their defense though, the manual said nothing about it, which is weird. Just a picture of the correct way, which can be misread. They just assumed the two slots in the guide were the same. They obviously weren't paying really careful attention to the pictures. It's not a mistake an owner would make if doing it themselves, but an installer who just wants to get it done quickly and isn't paying really careful attention, might. And ours did. The manual should be more clear, and show there is a wrong-way to install that part, for any installers who might otherwise miss it.
Thanks Misha. Another comment about drilling into the curb. I know that schluter does not cover drilling through their membrane like that. They make a slotted profile for that sort of thing. Does guru teach to do it how you have shown?
Not 100% sure on the guru policy with that. But I know that their curb is solid foam. I n the video you can see that I only drilled through the tile. I have 99.9% certainty that everything will be ok. I wish i added some silicone over top.

Looks great, We epoxy (2 part) those bottom brackets to the tile. Stronger than screws and no penetrations in the tile or waterproofing layer.

Thanks. Better instructions than the company Chinese guys using a British guy to narrate 😂

good idea!
Not gonna matter if that's a kerdi foam curb. If it's a liner, well.....oops!😢😅 Someone is gonna be miserable in about 5 years.

Perfect video, quick n easy
Don't forget the silicone in the holes, many glass door instructions ask for it and the ones that don't fucked up😅
+1
what is the purpose of those 3 little screws at the 9:00 mark? what are they doing exactly?
Lovly you did nice job. 👍👍
Whenever you drill into tile you have to squirt alittle silicone in each hole or water will penetrate through. Definitely missed an important step!

Thanks for showing
i screwed up with guided centre two doors . Are the screws under the glass ? I have to move it over . Can you tell me ? thx RS
My door is 58" can trim horizontal shower door support bar 2" to fit my shower? Is this this thing designed to fit into 5' shower only?
Good looking out
Can anyone share how out of plumb this door conoensates for? I seem to have about a .35 inch on the 86 inch length. Will this door accomodate that?
Can you install flush with the wall or it needs to be inside a bit
One glass panel is smaller than the other. That's what's throwing me off , if glass panels are supposed to over lap . Am I missing something?
The fixed glass and the moving glass are different widths I believe. They do over lap.
Turn the camera horizontal.

@@WINNI.Designs if it’s curb is foam , at least you don’t have to worry about water seeping in and rotting a wood curb -
Thanks a lot bro
What kind of silicone did you use on the corner of the door?
Excellent
why does the bottem track stay wet for one or two days after shower on the sliding door side
top tip, put the get the other door in before the track
Tapped anchors in without silicone. Whoever owns that house will pay for that massive mistake in the next 10 years. Amateur.
