It’s still not safe and can be dangerous to be out, but when I was your age we risked loosing our families and our lives being out, holding hands was not even possible, we hid and protected ourselves until the gay pride movement and then the backlash during the nightmare of the AIDS epidemic. I’m so happy you can have this life❤ seeing your happiness let’s me know that the struggles of my generation has made a difference ♥️

My first date with my current bf was actually us going camping for a week. We met in person a few times then went camping for a week. We went in winter which was great so him and I snuggled by the fire and we have been together for 2 years now. We make a point of going camping as often as we can each year

Congrats on 112k subscribers! I have a friend and his husband used to do a ton of backpacking and camping all over the southwest states. He moved back to near where he and I were born because his parents are getting elderly (they have about 8 years on mine, so he was a late baby!). They decided to settle down and buy a home instead of hopping around to wherever they fancied in order to begin fostering. After years of fostering they finally got the call that an infant had been left at a safe haven. He and his husband are now giddy (and sleep deprived) since it was an adoption placement. Gay men who love to shirk off societal norms (like, never marrying, if married have an open marriage, etc) and went fully into Dad & Dad + child. They’ve never been happier and are so thankful to the parents who knew they couldn’t take care of the child and instead gave him up. I don’t care what gender, sexual orientation, or age you are…. Follow your heart and you’ll never be unhappy.

Do you ever miss going more formal, taking in the theater and a great dinner at a posh restaurnt? I think you could be a stunning date, I'm guessing you can be quite stunning when you want. I also guess you may have the kind of style and manners that would be a pleasure to behold on a superior night out. Maybe I'm wrong, my imagination is pretty strong at times. We have an RV that we inhabit in the summer next to the lake. Tankless hot water, indoor shower, full kitchen, all to prove we are not very serious campers. We do love the peace and tranquilty. At the same time a night at Sardis or Frankie and Johnies in NYC, followed by a memorable musical, perhaps a museum in the afternoon. Variety is everything. LOL - "Pizza to the white van..." I was camping in a yurt at a state park in Oregon with friends who had their own yurts and campers .... we had a potluck and I had pizza delivered to the yurt. My friends kept taking pics and thought it was hilarious.

Anyway to go away from that completely, a refrigerator is a neat heater even with colder outside, and it's only more efficient for you if the refrigerator can actually be turned off and not plugged in, because ACs are super good at taking heat and putting it some place else. So tldr; technically more efficient to leave it plugged in in your camper unless you can have it plugged out.
I think it’s great that you’re sharing a date night with Austin. I know it’s none of my business but it’s nice to know you’re with some one on your trip and you help each other out as shown in your previous vlogs. You really should start heading south for warmer weather and better chances for sun to power your solar panels. I suspect it would be less of a daily challenge. BTW the shower set up is great. I was camping in a yurt at a state park in Oregon with friends who had their own yurts and campers .... we had a potluck and I had pizza delivered to the yurt. My friends kept taking pics and thought it was hilarious.

I saw a camper truck recently on a Walmart parking lot, and I immediately thought of you and imagined the owner's struggles and resourcefulness. As a city boy, I have much more respect for camper owners now! Love your channel to bits and pieces!
I don't wanna make it about your personal relationship, but I'm so happy for you, eeeeek! Love that you're comfy stating it in the video. Anyway to go away from that completely, a refrigerator is a neat heater even with colder outside, and it's only more efficient for you if the refrigerator can actually be turned off and not plugged in, because ACs are super good at taking heat and putting it some place else. So tldr; technically more efficient to leave it plugged in in your camper unless you can have it plugged out.
I think it’s great that you’re sharing a date night with Austin. I know it’s none of my business but it’s nice to know you’re with some one on your trip and you help each other out as shown in your previous vlogs. You really should start heading south for warmer weather and better chances for sun to power your solar panels. I suspect it would be less of a daily challenge. BTW the shower set up is great.
