  • Interesting Proto copy from Mexico under the Urrea name. Had some problems with this one though...

I have most sizes of their extra long combo wrenches. They are some of my favorite to use. They are very long and comfortable to hold. I also just like the look of them. And I like the open end design. It has almost a v groove but it's not a true v. Seems like it may give a slight bit more contact area that regular open end wrenchs. Also I have never had them round anything off. Another cool thing is the wrenches are stamped with the sae size on the front. But then the back has what it would be in metric. So funny stampings like 14.2MM... only bad thing is some wrenches have really bad quality control issues. They aren't very uniform.

Now that I saw this video again, yeah, that's an old ratchet, not like, really old in terms of being used to much, but I said, it's old with the tooling they use, Urrea has come along to get better with they work In this couple of years, like I said before, hope you can find more Urrea tools to make reviews!

i bet the tooling they used was really badly worn out....and the pawls look like they were cheap cast parts of cheap metal, and then hand filed...

Yeah the double pawl ratchets coming out of Taiwan like the Harbor Freight Pittsburgh’s etc look better on the inside.
