@@TaraBudgets I'm guilty of pulling out of my savings acct if I want or need something extra so it fluctuates alot. Definitely need to only use my savings and checking as a buffer and emergency or big expense savings. Ohh i forgot to ask, where did you get your everyday wallet and envelopes?
You should find a way to “brand” your boxes. Make a sticker that goes on the side or lid that says TBB 2021 Tara Budgets Box….. I love it when small shop owners brand they product they make. Keep up the good work girl!
I am a server( 43 years but still run circles around everyone lol) I have done this system for most of my career and would be considered wealthy in anyone's book,no debt,travel for 3 months during the summer and only work 3 days a week the rest of the year! It is not how much you make but how much you can save.If I make only 30 grand a year but have been putting/ investing half of it for 30 years,do the math! That is alot of money which translates into less stress and a sense of pride no one can take away from you.I would think about getting a fireproof/ waterproof cash box just in case,plus I keep a safety deposit box that I store " valuables in".
