Thank you!! This is the BEST video explaining the differences between mieux et meilleur. I watched some other videos before this one and all they did was get me more confused. You explain it very clear :)
I randomly stumbled upon this video. 2 minutes into the video, I thought: he sounds like the coffee break guy, then I looked at the channel name, it's him! I always wondered what Mark looks like! You are so talented and I've been listening to your French and Spanish Podcast for years!
Por fin entendí mieux y meilleur 😅 I was talking to a friend yesterday about the advantages of learning french if you speak a latin-like language. English, español and french are a cool combo 😊 Oh sorry I meant Scottish not English 😂 Great lesson! Aprendo francés con coffee break french desde hace un tiempo. ¡Gracias Mark!
I can't hear your scot accent when you speak French. Your nasals are amazing. Your french accent is amazing. Did you live in a French speaking country?

Salut, Pamela ! In the UK, where we are based, we say biscuit instead of cookie. For us, a cookie is just one type of biscuit. Hope this helps to explain things 😊

@@coffeebreaklanguages Oh, I was also noticing that on the sign on the street there said "le meilleur biscuit apératif sur terre" and was wondering why there was no definite article in front of "terre." I thought you always had to put a definite article on a noun (well, I'm sure there are exceptions). Thank you for noticing and responding to my question! C'est très gentil de votre part! : )

If I wanted to say, the best cake of my mom, how would I say it literally in that was.
Alors, tu ne dois pas utiliser "la" avec terre? Aussi, j'ai pensé que "un biscuit" = "a cookie." Bref, cette vidéo m'a aidé beaucoup! Merci!

Hello Kristen - the phrase "sur terre" can be used in French to mean "on Earth", as in "the best place on Earth", for example. Hope this helps!
Im completely not here because i read sugar sugar rune… kidding i came because the protagonists names are chocola meilleur and vanilla mieux haha
