Man, I don’t know how PCGS is gonna recover from that annihilation at 0:56
😂
Indeed!
They are making a killing but I get the joke
Why am I not impressed? Oh, I have everything I ever wanted 😂😂!
Ms 64
Man, they are strict.
Truly I sent in a couple coins and one that I got back got au graffiti from a lil scratch
Yep, but the MS65 makes up for it mostly 😁
@@SilverpickerI guessed a ms62 for that one
They are super strict for sure but man what a score on that 65 nice job. I collect slab Morgan’s and Indian head cents
Fantastic submission. Going 8 for 8 is tough. I've been submitting with PCGS for 3 years now and I've yet to pull that off! I primarily submit Constitutional silver, but my 1 gold piece I sent in got a MS68 Top Pop! 1945 2.5 Centavos, but still a Top Pop Gold piece!
That’s awesome! This was my first time getting no details coins!
Nice Video and congrats on being 8 for 8 with nearly $4,500 profit on those amazing coins! Also, I was wondering, I have two extremely rare coins, a 1907 $20 Saint-Gaudens certified by PCGS in MS66+ and a 1923 Peace Dollar certified also by PCGS in MS67+, would you be interested in buying one or both of them?
Awesome video nice gold coins thanks for sharing silver picker
Hey silver picker, thanks for posting this video. It’s a great tool for collectors to test their grading skills. I was within 1 grade of all your coins with the exception of the MS65 $2.50 and actually nailed 2 of them. The XF40 and one of the coins that graded AU55. So that made me feel pretty good! Keep it up with the great content.
Congratulations you call that one. ms 63 i said ms 64…👏👍🇺🇸
Congratulations I really enjoy that video….
Nice work on the $2.50 in a 65! Hope you get a cac sticker on it to justify that $3,000 price tag else it's about a $1,500 coin. Gorgeous piece!
I’ve never submitted anything to CAC. Not a bad idea though
He might get close to that price if he finds a buyer that is looking to complete a set. I have been in the Coin businesses since the summer of 65. Those buyers are out there.
Looking good Max. You are right to say that we are always learning something in the hobby. I've been collecting for 35 years now and I definitely learn something new everyday.. Just the other day I learned that $1.40 face value of 90% silver is an ounce. Any denomination of quarters, dimes, and halves. Who knew, I didn't.
Not the dollar coin.
@@faro1875 o. Ok. See, I'm still learning even after 35 years. Much appreciated.
Congratulations on the ms 61
Where did you buy most of these?
I traded for them with a Patreon patron
One problem is the coin price guide for PCGS and NGC on their websights is high retail and most of the time hard to get that price.
Totally agree, but I had to use something for pricing
You’re right but he might can find the right buyer maybe somebody looking to complete a set and get that price. But for me I use EBay for the market price guide. I sale there so it makes sense for me
Congratulations on ms 65
I sent one ,,never saw it again ,,,
Some awesome submissions and coins buddy. Do you gave to have a business selling coins to be grading price around $38? I had a change to my life/work and I'm trying to get a wider variety of stuff to start selling coins and increasing my stack and would love to do this exact venture. Any advice would be VERY much appreciated
Each year you get 8 "free" vouchers for your platinum membership of $250. There was an added charge of $56, so pro-rated, the 8 grades were $38 each
@@Silverpicker oh shit thats awesome man. So if getting that membership you'd want to do it multiple times throughout the year to make it worth it? It's awesome your coins graded so great. Congrats man.
I have a 1oz 2020 W Gold Eagle. There were less than 6,700 minted. 80% are coming back as MS70s.
Beautiful collection. Would be hard for me to let any of them go being a gold and silver guy😂
Ms 60
Wow
Au55
They'll slab non graded coins. But it will be markers "non gradable genuine" on the back label
Congrats on the great grades 🎉
This is a very good video. Thank you.
I have 1976 bicentennial three set ,uncirculated ,silver coins, with red envelope .
Hi, love you content! But I see lots of people send coins recently to PCGS instead of NGC. Is PCGS better or easier?
It is generally more reputable and add more value than NGC, but will also be more harsh with grades.
@@itsmezhongligamingandasmr5413thanks!
I know you weren't asking me but pcgs graded coins tend to sell for a little more than ngc graded coins ..I've heard they are ( pcgs) more conservative in their grading , so I've read and heard from alot of these guys on youtube.hope that helps
Yes if you resale the same Coins you will get more for the slabbed PCGS. Crazy but true
Au 50
Au 57

Au 50
That 1925 Indian gold coin is what they call incuse, very difficult for the mint to make.
Who determines those values who said you're going to paid $400.00
for is worth $3000.00?
Just curious I mean after all it's just a quarter ounce of gold right .?
I will only say there was a profit if the coins actually get sold.
That’s true. This is meant to be illustrative
Does whatnot recognize silver and gold tax exceptions?
Thank you so much for your time. I have never sent a coin off to be graded. Ive been buying from the mint and have quite a few I could send off. Hopefully, I'll do so after watching this video, it might be profitable!
I'll admit I'm not the most knowledgeable about coins but I think you should have the 1908 $10 indian regraded, I think it should have been between au58 and ms61. Also I think there may be some type of error on the w on the reverse although it might be damage it seems odd it would only affect the first leg of the letter, btw I love your videos, I've learned a lot and they're very enjoyable. Thank you❤
That w wouldn’t be an error but ok
Also it was impossible for the viewers to be able to give a accurate grade the coin was not close enough
6:51 love that genuine reaction
XD omg i just watched that. that "holy *redacted* OMGGGG XDDD
My opinion pcgs is a over priced rip off. About 12 out of 18 turned out cleaned or some crap. Save your money and just put them in holders.
I sent an email along the High Resolution images of few pennies I guess it went directly to spam folder :-(((
You must submit a lot of coins for grading I was informed it was 60 bucks just to grade Them And I am a new small time investor
@6:56 it went from a 25 d to a 24d !! LOL Might want to fix that. Beautiful coin though! JJ
Those are some very nice coins you have in your collection, are the gold quarter coins worth anything.
ty pcgs photograde. buy the coin not the holders. Either your camera not to good. or they all look ?? but very nice. tiny profit. lol 4k off someone.
Couldn't see the coins very well so couldn't guess the grade . 😢
I'm interested to know where your buying these coins at raw.
You do realize that the grade is in the bar code number. 😁❤️🇺🇸
The only thing is I have alot of coins like in really great shape but I need someone to do all that lol.like hundreds.
Quick question! How much did it cost you to submit each one and or all 8 coins to PCGS company and how long did it take to get back to you? Just curious!🧐💯
He said 3 months and the price to grade each coin was ≈$38.
Omg this is so cool!!!!
How did you get these coins for their raw values?
why do you call this profit? did you get them for spot?
I can't get a good enough view to guess. I'm used to the 800 x view
Do you tell them the error of your coin or they look for it when they grade it
I'm curious, how do you acquire your coins?
Nice Video, just find the profit counter quite misleading, as it seems like you use list values there, but if you look at items that actually sold, most of the coins shown here are worth roughly half of what you are stating and it is not profit until the coin is actually sold.
Actually it’s still profit
It’s not intended to be exact. It’s a guideline based on the only “objective” measure out there, which is the
Pcgs price guide
@@Silverpicker eBay sold is pretty good too.
You never said the weight
Lots of great information!
How can l send mines ,,,tell me how?
great job ty for sharing.
Thank you for this!!
Thank you. Awesome
That was fun to watch! Thank you! 😊
🧐 good sharing 👍❤️
THREE MONTHS TO GET BACK???!!! WTF???
That's why I never use PCGS!
I use ANACS, inexpensive, fast and fair grading!
I used PCGS about 4 years ago. It took 4 months to get my grades and another 18 days to get my coins. Never again.Never!
It was really ridiculous
Congrats. nice coins.
Congrats. Looking forward to sending in my first batch for grading soon.
Nice! Good luck!!
Meed litttle more work on mint state.
Rooting for you! 848!
Good for you!!!Nice😮
Very nice 👍
Good for you buddy. 👍
6:45 know why you act so surprised is because world values $400 but he probably only paid 50% of that because he had to adjust for market volatility but the guy who he probably bought the coin off of was probably trying to tell him that it was mint state but this guy being who he is probably disregarded that completely he probably bought all these coins at once I'm a group because there's a couple videos to where he states that he buys coins obviously an enormous discount as well as a skewed price chart but he had to act surprised because he was so dismissive of the sellers idea that the coin is in very great condition I would not sell your coin to this guy oh my God $3,000 worth of profit oh my God ms65 I'm so surprised what a joke
First off, I'm good friends with the person who traded me these coins and he congratulated me when I got the grades back. Second, you have been watching my videos for years and always posting negative stuff about me. Why do you keep watching if you think I'm such a jerk?
Cool .bless you.
Great lookers 👀. Too much jibber jabber.🐎✌️🦁
😂
LOL at the "value" of these graded coins. Good luck, hope you find a sucker ;-)
These are the values listed on the PCGS price guide. Yes, they're inflated, but it's consistent and easy for viewers to follow.
Yu should try sports cards back in 2020 I waited an entire year for an order to come back
Yeesh that's rough!
How did you send the coin out did you leave them in the round coin capsule,,,
No, I put them in Mylar flips per PCGS’s rules
Celery tape
Hi
Hi!
congrats!
You had some rockin grades…congrats bro!!
Appreciate it!!
Nice results for sure! Maybe consider consigning the ones you want to sell to either Mike Mezak or Rick Tomaska to sell overpriced to collectors who like paying too much! 😂
😂😂😂
They only fool the dummies. Sad that people fall for it
Au56
WTGooooo!
unfortunately the PCGS prices on gold are WAY out of reasonable.
If they were real I'd have millions in gold coins
I agrée they’re inflated but they’re not that far off.
How do I contact you I have several awesome coins for sale
Instagram @thesilverpicker
Hey, I’m new to collecting coins and I’m curious about how you found out the profit. Now I think I see how you did your math. Correct me if I’m wrong but you took the raw value, guessing that’s how much the coin costed you plus the grading cost and added it together to see the total value. After getting it graded I don’t know how you found out the value of the specific coin. But you took the value of the coin (graded) and subtracted how much you spent to get a profit amount. I’m on the PCGS XF40 right now so this is where I’m learning to do the math of the coins. Am I correct? Also how do you ever find out what that specific coin is worth after grading? 16 btw so hopefully this is a good start for me at learning. Just found out your channel about 1 hour ago been watching the vids to learn.
i guessed the first one's grade exactly right!
💪
PSA is going in to Coin grading near end of next year
They will be grading the salada coins. PSA is affiliated with PCGS under the Collectors Universe. They do Paper money and comic books as well.
Hey …getting a problem free coin is a great thing
Amen lol!
When they grade do they take photos of each coin?
Yes, if you pay for it
I just signed up through the link provided. They're going to review my application. : )) Thanks for the info.
Congrats! Those are some amazing finds. I can't wait for the day that I get a graded coin worth $3,000.
Not quite sure where you're getting your slabbed mint state gold values from, but I can go on SD Bullion right now and buy a slabbed MS63 Saint Gaudens Double Eagle for less than $2250. Hell, I can get a slabbed MS65 for less than $2600! Who's paying these prices on slabbed coins that you're quoting? I'd like to know, because I have some arbitraging I'd like to conduct.
They're values from the PCGS price guide. They're definitely inflated but not egregiously. It's prob about 15% over-valued
By the way you are also paying a Premium for and Coin you buy on SD Bullion
I love your unboxing videos. You look great. Your channel looks great. I'm a long-time watcher.
Awesome video! Thanks for sharing!❤
Whomever sold that MS 65 to you for 400 screwed up extremely bad, great score on all of them but especially the 65
What a handsome collection of gold coins. Congrats on the grades!
