I could see that in 2012 for sure and maybe 2013. However, 2014 Spurs would’ve said otherwise for sure in my book. However, a Lakers vs Spurs series in 2013 with a CP3 and Kobe Lakers would’ve been an epic battle that likely would’ve sent the Kobe vs Tim Duncan rivalry out in style (both were amazing that year). Manu and Tony had injuries right before the playoffs in 2013, Tony recovered well but Manu didn’t that year so maybe that could’ve hurt the playoff series. Would still be great though. After that though Golden State and OKC destroyed everyone in their path and I don’t think either team would’ve done a thing against that.

The funny thing is that in 2012 people already considered the NBA soft (I was one of them). Now in 2022 I would gladly go back to 2012 NBA in terms of what players could do on defense and how the game was called. :D
Lakers pretty much faded away lol after this they went no where but down roster became so trash that for them to win Kobe had to carry them and at his age with that many seasons under his belt he couldn’t do it
