Make parrying in pvp do something. It's annoying to get into a melee fight just to see who gets cut down the fastest. Parrying should cause a stagger for a counter attack to punish melee spam or power fist/hammer heavy attack staggers. Make parrying more difficult to pull off in pvp than in pve, but please implement it. Also, have it where there's a slight vulnerability if a parry attempt is failed. Perfect parry: enemy is staggered. Partial parry: you take half damage from attack. Failed parry: you take full damage or slightly more damage. If you think you will be parried, remember, you have a gun. Mix it up.
Alot of tips that could be given for this game feel really obvious but still there are plenty of players that need to hear them. Stuff like watch your ally's back if they're pressing into an area. The entire team doesn't need to be on the farthest objective, especially when the opposition holds all 3. Etc.
The pvp needs some sort of skill based matchmaking or at least shuffle the teams after each match I've losted 12 games back to back it's so frustrating
This game is fun but pvp is poor. 1 guy can’t carry a team. I do pretty well and it’s still not enough since I get 10 loses in a row even if I’m top of the scoreboard. They just don’t shuffle teams and even out the matchmaking which honestly is gonna kill online pvp pretty early when people get sick enough of losing repeatedly. Mechanics are great but they need a skill based matchmaking because smashing noobs really doesn’t do the game any good since they’ll just leave after getting sick of it. Skill based matchmaking would fix it and not cause new players to drop the game which will likely happen if they don’t fix it
I had annihilation stats 19-3 as vanguard after nerf, i never had such stats with any other class im max lvl, it really depends on the playstyle vanguard is an excellent flanker, accessing out or reach highground and disrupt enemy team make them confused really can turn a tide, its also a class with highest skill requirement
The point of warhammer is there is no good guys no matter what every faction is messed up in its own way cause no matter who you pick it's always way more fun playing as the bad guy
The PvP is ok but I find it glitch and laggy in too many games. Because of the slow clunky marine movement PvP is a fun distraction but will never sand on its own two feet.
Ok but how do you make it so your guns actually do damage. Takes dozens of shots, confirmed hits with the x popping up, to kill an enemy with any gun, and yet no matter the class I play, I get killed in 3 shots by some Bulwark across the map with a bolt pistol.
It might be latency or ping issues. I find this does happen for me from time to time. Try dropping the quality level of your game and see if that helps too. Stutters can affect hit registry
Assault crushes. Get them to run to the spawn point, and another kill team go to your spawn point. As they die and spawn point swaps they get slaughtered, I got an easy 20-10 lead in first minutes
Don't be afraid of Bulwarks: Shock Nade them or (when they want to melee you) just shoot. They will they first, cause they cant kill you fast enough. Sniper SMG is better than Sniper with Sniper Rifle. SMG Melts every class. Always play around your Bulwark. They can scout without issue and can block a full enemy team blasting bullets at them.

For sure, I think this, along with shoulder swap are key to really making the PVP that much more competitive

Man the amount of people who dont even ping is insane. Ping in pretty much every gun fight.
If you're playing heavy, you can drop your iron halo before it runs out and have a shorter recharge time.
