Hey Peachy you have really hit your stride now and the format is awesome. Just being your enthusiastic and informed self is coming over so well. All of Joseph’s games are awesome and there is one element that he always includes (thankfully) and that is solo play. It would be a massively interesting part 2 to this video to hear you talk about solo play, the available scenarios but mostly to hear you talk about your thoughts on the mechanics and ideas for scenario building. Keep on being you mate, we are lapping it up.
😍🙌😍 thanks bud! I certainly have plans to cover solo play, not sure yet if it will be in the form of the battle reports or just a fun talking head vid….or both. But it’s on the cards
I know these topics probably don't get the space marine bump, but i love your journey into alternative skirmish games.. These are my favorite options in the hobby right now
Great video. Minor point of order, the junior officer would not have got his armor from Waddesdon Manor unless he was a time traveller as it was built in the 1870s by the Rothschild family, who made at least part of their fortune buying up stocks that had crashed on the back of false news of the Allies defeat by Napoleon at Waterloo. I only know this as I grew up locally. Another 'fun fact', the locals dont pronounce the e in Waddesdon. Love the video, Silver Bayonet is a fantastic game and deserves the love.
I was hoping someone would comment this 🙌 I just picked it as it had such a fun name…..knowing it was the wrong period, your sir did not dissapoint and I salute you 🫡 Also thanks for watching too 😍😍😍
@@mjaatpriory funnily enough when I first met my wife she was working there. It is an amazing property filled with incredible art. I hope she has a great time there.
I heard of this game a while back. Your mention on the podcast reminded me I should look into it. Looks cool even while I'm not a historical wargame player, or am I particularly interested in the time period, but adding the supernatural element makes it definitely more my cup of tea.

This looks fun! As a dad who primarily war games at home with his wife and kids, Joseph McCullough has just found a beautiful design of rules. We play Frostgrave, Stargrave, Rangers of Shadowdeep already. We will definitely be adding this one to the mix. Its games like these that have inspired me to design my own rulesets!
Thank you for making such brilliant content for us Peachy! I always loved seeing big napoleonic miniatures dioramas in museums as a kid! Silver Bayonet looks awesome!
A friend and I have taken our Silver Bayonet full Cthulhu! It ended with a village of Deep Ones summoning Dagon. Was epic! Such a great video, will definitely follow for more!
I've been interested in Silver Bayonet for like a year now. I've just ordered the core book and carpathians book - that's how good your video is. Now to look for napoleonic miniatures!
Yaaay! Well I hope you can source some minis, there’s soooo many companies that make them, whether they be metal, resin or plastic. I do have a few websites of reputable companies in the description if that helps
That's great, I love Joseph's other games but I've been avoiding even looking closely at Silver Bayonet to avoid getting sucked into another one, so I didn't even realise about the horror elements! Sounds amazing! Really good tips about converting up the zombies from the Perry kits, that's a brilliant cost saving.
It’s a great game, and like all of joes other stuff it’s got a great following and community, sorry if I’ve opened a Pandora’s box for you now lol. And making fun zombies out of spares is such good fun Cheers for watching 😍🙏😍
Peachy this was a great discovery. I used to paint historicals when I was very young just for fun. I later switch to 40k because it was main stream and easy to access as a game. I'm excited to share this game system with my buds. Also... it seems like a nice excuse to stop painting my Blood Angels for a bit... and putting my red paints on a few Lobster Coats! Keep up the great work!!!!
It’ll certainly be a lovely and refreshing palette cleanser from your current projects, and just a handful of minis too. Nothing like painting up a handful of lobsters 😂👍
Apologies for the late post and I'm not sure what all has been recommended but here it goes: - Canada supplement for Silver Bayonet by Ash from Guerrilla Miniature Gaming. - Everything from Snarling Badger Studios (Uncle Atom and Vincy V): Reign in Hell, Space Station Zero, Majestic 13, Tanks for the Apocalypse, Deth Wizards. - One Page Rules; Warhammer but better and cheaper. - Dead By Lead; great cowboy Western game. - BLKOUT; near future tactical skirmish. Small, fast, and deadly. - Flames of Orion; grimdark mech combat by Steve from Hive Scum podcast. - Night Thirst - vampire horror skirmish game from Wittle Goblin. I'm sure I'll think of more but that's a good start. I love what you do and I'm ecstatic that you get to finally do what you love. Keep doing it and we’ll keep watching!
I’d never looked into many games beyond GW, but hearing your enthusiasm about them has made me check out this game, Deth Wizards, and Stargrave. Thanks for the inspiration! The change of pace has been awesome.
Always fun to see someone talking about something they enjoy. I know nothing about Napoleonic's. It is something I know a lot of people are in to but I would never know where to start of what models to get because there is just SO much stuff out there.
It is quite overwhelming that’s true, but honestly most folks just start with one nation or even one box of minis and slowly but surely things oddly fall into place. Years ago myself and Duncan got mad into Napoleonics, we had seen films and tv shows like Sharpe, but our knowledge was super limited to red guys vs blue guys lol. With just one box and the excitement of re enacting episodes of Sharpe we just found out the info overtime. And remember most ‘experts’ are just a handful of history/Osprey books ahead of you…..that is all
@@PeachyTips I appreciated the bit where you mentioned that you can separate April's of Perry Miniatures models. That definitely makes the game seem a lot more accessible.
Love your presentation with Napoleonic Zombies rushing through osgiliath to the ruined lethis barracks ... In the hopes of finding their lost souls from the star gods. Now that is true narrative wargaming ... Some mini's looked as they could step right onto turnip28 battlefield aswell ... So much flexibility. 👍🏻
Love your enthusiasm for both this and Frostgrave. To tell you the truth I've just got ordered the Frostgrave rulebook. Now I'm going to look into this one. Keep up the enthusiasm you have mate , it really is highly infectious . Looking forward to the next one already.
I really like the Templars and Hospitallers they are soooo cool. I'd love to do a warband of that era. Saying that the Hospitallers are still around today in one form or another.
Dear Mr. Peachy This more colourful and weird take on the Napoleonic wars reminds me of a story I once heard surrounding the death of George Washington. Apparently soon after Washington died in 1799, a physician (and family friend) by the name of Dr. William Thornton crafted a plan to "resuscitate" the dead General through a combination of blood transfusion, warming, and galvanism(the "science" which inspired Dr Frankenstein and pioneered by Lugi Galvani). Ultimately Washington's wife shot the idea down, yet the question still remains what would have come from a successful operation. One of the more wild ideas that floats through my mind is that of Napoleon and his penchant towards "ye oldie Wunderwaffe" such the nautilus submarine, grenade launchers, hot air balloons exedra. Imagine this, its 1813 Napoleon is sitting in camp the night after the disastrous the battle of the nations, and while brooding over his defeat the silhouette of Galvani (or Dr. Thornton) appears at his tents opening offering to really "galvanize" Napoleons recent losses. Given the dire state of the French army's manpower Napoleon accepts.
'The warband to be commanded by the newly gazetted...Major Wentworth, sir?" Amazing as always Peachy! And as always now I immediately want to sink a lot of money into another game 😅
If Joan of arc can put on armour and become a saint, I’m sure some napoleonic French woman can put on a hat and wear fancy trousers. Love the idea of the dishonoured noble leading
I also like the idea that any civilian who's shown aptitude for dealing with the supernatural might get pulled into the unit, regardless of race or sex... if a gal has staked a vampire, then she has had more success than basically everybody, congratulations, we're teaching you to shoot and you better get out there for queen and country.
I don't know if it's mentioned in the video but if you're interested in a very real woman who fought and led troops in the Napoleonic Wars you need look no further than Agustina of Aragon. During the Siege of Zaragoza she was bringing supplies to a Spanish artillery battery which was routed by French infantry, but instead of running away she rushed in and fired a cannon off, shredding several of the enemy. This action inspired the men to return to their posts and drive off the French assault. She later went on to become a low level leader among the guerrillas and, at least according to legend, became the only female officer to serve under Wellington during the Peninsula Campaign.
@@PeachyTipssutlers were a common sight in the armies of XVIIIth and XIXth century. Often following brothers, fathers , husbands or lovers in to the army . The late revolutionary/early napoleonic armies tried to limit their numbers till the battle of Austerlitz where two sutlers Helena Kurdwanów and Joanna Śubrowa were crucial in rallying the troops. Joana Żubr , joined her husband in the army distingished hereself in the 1807 and 1812 campaign for which she was decorated(Virtuti military the first woman to earn it) and achived the rank of 2ed lieutenant. And this three are just the ones (especialy in the Spanish war) who fought and achived military rank. There were a lot of women like this in the russian, french and spanish forces. Not so many in the english or prussian armies, but not that were non. Friederike Krüger was a famouse prussian "wild" corpral in the prussian army . The Austria army made up for it. And when l say that there were fewer women in some armies , l am talking about trooper. Both the Prussian and British army had a "few"[3-4k] women in their camps, who in the case of a camp attack fought. Forgering and getting in contact with locals or enemy? They fought. There is at least one example from 1808, that l know of, where a firefight between two sutler groups turned in to a small battle, when both armies decided to "save" their women from the enemy.
I loved this video! I didn't know this game, so thank you for the discovery! I've always liked skirmish games with a strong theme. I still play Test of Honour whenever I can.
Don't forget that Silver Bayonet has licensed models that are also amazing. Seeing sneak peeks of those models is what first piqued my interest in the game.
Great to bump into you on the Wayland Stand Sunday Peachy and timely to talk about Frostgrave and Silver bayonet ; those Osprey Publishing teams have an amazing selection of Games to fit the search for Accessible/Cheap. Im looking forward to more content of Solo Wargaming and small format publishing games.

As somebody who has only just returned to the hobby (after decades) but who is also someone who is not overly interested in 40K, I am loving all the games you are currently featuring!! I’ve been reading about Silver Bayonet for a while and your vid has made me finally go for it order a bunch of the Perry Sprues! So cheers! It might also be worth having a look at Dead Mans hand if you are unaware of it, it’s an old West Skirmish game and their Plastic Gunfighters are AWESOME

Excited to watch Peach talk about this! I recently started a force to play Sludge. Silver Bayonet is an easy game to double up with but I haven’t looked too much into it yet. I’ve heard great things about it!
Such a great game. My friend and I played through all the missions in the original book, and that attracted a bigger group to play through the missions in the next. We are all in Toronto, so looking forward to making our way through the Canada book. It is such a solid game.
Big agree! Have a ton of 3rd party (before old world released GW lawyers who might be watching) brettonian knights on horse back of various sorts, that I haven't been able to to find an easy or good looking way to paint them.
Came here after watching the Silver Bayonet battle report. Yeah, looks exactly like something I will enjoy putting teams together for. 👍 And being able to adjust the rules to fit different time periods, opens up some interesting possibilities. A team of Crusaders having to deal with a desert demon.Something Solomon Kane themed. Or even explorers dealing with whatever terrors lurk in the deepest, darkest...wherever. Just to name a couple off the top of my head. 😁
I really like this format Peachy! Listening to you talk about all your models and seeing examples gave me so many ideas for my own little Silver Bayonet warband
I enjoy the Napoleonic era but am all painted out out for it so I did exactly what you’re suggesting, Peachy, and went outside the box and have just finished a Silver Bayonet force based around the British Empire from the 1890s!
@@PeachyTips Anywhere there’s desert or mountains particularly floats my scenery boat. What I like about the ruleset is that you can make it fit wherever. I had homebrew rules for Egypt so was delighted when the official ones came out. Afghanistan and Sudan are also personal favourites and there’s so much scope explore those areas.
This video and your Frostgrave video are my two favorite videos you've made! I will definitely be picking up the rule books and a couple of sprues with my next paycheck. Keep up the great work!
😍🙏😍 thanks Curtis! I’m super chuffed you enjoyed those videos, was a tone of fun making them too. And do share any pics on my socials if you get any warbands painted
Another great video Peachy! I've always been curious about historic games but as you mentioned, it always felt like there was a hurdle to getting into it. This also scratches the fantasy horror itch which piques my interest even more. Also always like to see your hobby and painting tutorials. Keep up the great content!
Thanks, after watching this vid and a bunch of "Let's play" from GMG I've added this rulebook to the pile and started rummaging trough my French Old Gurad bits 😛
Great video with some great miniatures in there, I loved the idea of this when it came out (having played Frostgrave a load), bought up loads of Perry miniatures that I’d l coveted for a while, built 2 warbands and creatures (did the same conversions with the zombies, except the foot thing which is a great tip) then the momentum fell off as no one around me wanted to play. I will paint them but, with limited time, games I do get to play take precedent. I’d love to see a series of Silver Bayonet!
We love you Peachy! This content is ideal. I never thought I'd see a zombie Obediah. You announcing that you will be doing Sharpe themed napoleonic gothic horror battlereports has made this by far the best day of my life.
Quick suggestion, how about making a Sharpe-based crew for Stargrave? I would love to see Captain Sharpe, Harps and the rest of the gang in a galaxy far, far away, boldly going where no man has gone before. Thanks for another great video by the way! 🙂
Cornwell mentions in one of his intros to the Sharpe books, that there was a plan to finish the TV episode of Sharpe’s Enemy with a close up of Hakeswill’s grave & have his hand bursting out of the soil. They ditched the idea unfortunately 😢
I would love to do a Greek version of Silver Bayonet cause it combines the Napoleonic wars with the Ottoman occupation, in a region with so many interesting potential horrors. The cool thing is that it can be an interesting mix match. Like an orthodox priest, a Greek chieftain with traditional attire, a Greek of aristocratic lineage serving as officer in the Imperial Russian Army, an intellectual who studied in the universities of Europe coming face to face with the completely illogical realities of monster hunting, you can even have mix in other Balkan cultures or even rogue Ottoman Janissaries etc. There are so many interesting themes. From Byzantine vampires to Ancient Greek mythology monsters still existing in closed Mycenaean tombs
@@PeachyTips There is so much flexibility with a scenario in this region. Because all the Great Powers at some point got involved. So you can use literally whatever characters you have. For example the Ionian Islands were changing hands all the time. Imagine that all the great archaeological excavations of the 19th and 20th century have not happen yet. So you can run wild with Ancient Greek connections and relics. You want Gothic horror? I will give you Gothic Horror, not just because the Balkans are so connected with vampires, but because you can draw a direct line to the original gothic horror writers like Percy and Marry Shelley and their friend Lord Byron who actually ended up in Greece initially as a tourist, but stayed as a revolutionary. What if he was hunting for something… beyond this world? You also have the popular myth of the last Emperor Constantine IX, taken the last moment from the battlefield by an angel and turned to marble, with the promise to return, in a very Arthurian motif. What if our adventurers search for Constantine in order to bring him to life and kick the Ottomans out, like the legend said, but in the end encounter something more than they thought?
Superb. A French retreat from Russia against Cossacks, Wolves, Werewolves, Vampires and various undead peasants idea is making me itch....Perry Miniatures metals appear to be a good start for my next project. Drifted into Canada recently and Trappers, army deserters and a few Native Americans V Wendigo, Sasquatch, and some French cultists.....Silver Bayonet what is not to love
Peachy, your units are really great! The lore you've created is very interesting, and the minis look beautiful. I am inspired! Thank you for making this video.
From one tea drinking egg man to another 😀. Thanks for this. Really enjoyed it. Getting into Stargrave just now but I can see myself making and painting a war and later this year.
@ I’m still building a warband for frostgrave after you and dice chatter talked about it. Something like silver bayonet would be my first dive into napoleonic type worlds. I’m ready for more gateway games. 😂
I saw a game of this setup yesterday, watched a gameplay video today and now am thinking of using the rules along with my 1880s men who would be kings figures.
That was a wonderful video Mr Peach! A very nice overview of the game related hobby/miniatures. Turnip28 has fascinated me since it blew up all over and I've been intrigued by The Silver Bayonet as it started popping up in my periphery too. My hobby is for the most part converting and painting fun projects for myself and the two games above have a lot of scope for fun creations. Because if Peachy is this passionate about it, it's gotta be worth trying. Thank you so much for sharing something that I think a lot of us in this hobby don't have much exposure to. Keep making videos about whatever you want. I want to hear someone talk about the things that they love, even if I don't know if it's something I'll be interested in.
This is the main reason i make this sort of content, to show and hopefully inspire, whether that's generating interest i the game, or just expanding and broadening those hobby horizons...thank you for such a lovely comment.
The design of the Silver Bayonet rulebook looks really classy. I like the show and tell video format - very relaxed and interesting.
Thanks that’s very much appreciated! Though I never expected my midlander tones to be counted as relaxing hahaha.
And just as I was making head way through my pile of shame you've given me a reason to buy more minis haha. Great video. Thanks for sharing!
I am sorry to add to the pile…..but it’s well worth it lol
This video has been sitting in my watch later for 2 months. Finally had enough free time to do a bit of hobby and listen to Peach. It's a wonderful day!
🙌🙌🙌 hope you enjoy it, got some fun battle reports and a how to play on the channel now too 😍👍
Hey Peachy you have really hit your stride now and the format is awesome.
I was hoping someone would comment this 🙌 I just picked it as it had such a fun name…..knowing it was the wrong period, your sir did not dissapoint and I salute you 🫡
Also thanks for watching too 😍😍😍
My niece got a job there last year, amazing experience for her first job.
We love peachy show and tell
Yaaaay! I’m pleased you liked my random assortment of gothic horror Napoleonics 😆👍
Been hyped for this video ever since it came up on Juggz. Very excited to get to grips with this game. Thanks for sharing your interest!
Awesome. Thank you for highlighting this ruleset.
My pleasure! i hope you get to enjoy it as much as i am
People that exist in a hobby I love, that like to talk about stuff that they are genuinely interested in is totally my jam. There's a lot of content out there when it's kind of for the engagement, but I could listen to you chat about stuff you like all the time. Patreon joined so I can help you be you dude 🤘
Aww thanks James! That’s super lovely of you to say……and massive thanks for the support too 😍🙏😍
Love ya 🍑
Great video mate, reminds me that I really need to start my own Silver Bayonet project.
I’ve really fallen in love with the game mechanics aswell such a top notch game
This looks fun! As a dad who primarily war games at home with his wife and kids, Joseph McCullough has just found a beautiful design of rules. We play Frostgrave, Stargrave, Rangers of Shadowdeep already. We will definitely be adding this one to the mix. Its games like these that have inspired me to design my own rulesets!
He’s a very talented fella, and I love his approach to Wargaming. Also that’s a great selection of games you have
Thank you for making such brilliant content for us Peachy! I always loved seeing big napoleonic miniatures dioramas in museums as a kid! Silver Bayonet looks awesome!
😍🙏😍 thank you or watching and supporting 😘
Been playing Silver Bayonet for 2 years. LOVE IT.
So cool to Peachy talking about one of my favourite games!
😍🙏😍 I’m really enjoying talking about these games too, feels super liberating, and just bloody good fun
A friend and I have taken our Silver Bayonet full Cthulhu!
It ended with a village of Deep Ones summoning Dagon. Was epic!
Such a great video, will definitely follow for more!
@@torganyaaww thanks, and the scenario you just explained sounds epic!
I really like this format where there is a tutorial at a random point. They get me hyped. By the way, Sharpe fighting undead? Yes, please!
Long format was great, its good for painting or assembling models and being able to listen.
Awesome thanks 🫶 glad you enjoyed the listen
Great video Peachy. Ive just come back from UK Games Expo with the rule book, British and Russian war bands. Looking forward to your battle reports 👍
Awesome! I’m also super impressed you got a rulebook lol, them things are hard to get atm 🤣
Thats because everyone is watching your videos 😆
@@jasonbrown2674 Hahaha! i doubt that lol....but its great to see such interest in these sorts of games.
Firestorm games sell silver bayonet figure sets, worth a look
That's great, I love Joseph's other games but I've been avoiding even looking closely at Silver Bayonet to avoid getting sucked into another one, so I didn't even realise about the horror elements! Sounds amazing! Really good tips about converting up the zombies from the Perry kits, that's a brilliant cost saving.
It’s a great game, and like all of joes other stuff it’s got a great following and community, sorry if I’ve opened a Pandora’s box for you now lol.
And making fun zombies out of spares is such good fun
Cheers for watching 😍🙏😍
Also love how you did that quick zombie kitbash. Buy the book and single Perry box, what an incredible entry point.
I thought it made sense to add in some way of making monsters with those remaining soldiers, that or warbands 2,3 & 4 😂
Really liked this format and you got me interested in Frostgrave and Silver bayonet ! If I buy anything for these games it's because of you 😅
🙌🙌🙌 YAAAAY! Glad you enjoyed the videos 😘
It will be my absolute pleasure to check out your JUGGZ! ;-)
Another fantastic video. Keep inspiring others with your enthusiasm and creativity.
😍🙏😍 thank you! I’m having the best time doing this
Peachy this was a great discovery.
Peachy out here promoting the "Rule of Cool" like a Boss. Thank you, mate.
😘😘😘
Apologies for the late post and I'm not sure what all has been recommended but here it goes:
- Canada supplement for Silver Bayonet by Ash from Guerrilla Miniature Gaming.
A good reading to set the mood is the Hellboy comics!
I’d never looked into many games beyond GW, but hearing your enthusiasm about them has made me check out this game, Deth Wizards, and Stargrave. Thanks for the inspiration! The change of pace has been awesome.
😍 I’m just glad I can talk about the other cool stuff I enjoy painting and playing with
Always fun to see someone talking about something they enjoy.
“I got to get a sharpe reference in there some how” 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 this is why we love ya peachy!

Tbh I think there’s a lot of fun crossover opportunities between silver bayonet and Turnip28. 😍👍
Love your enthusiasm for both this and Frostgrave. To tell you the truth I've just got ordered the Frostgrave rulebook.
Now I'm going to look into this one. Keep up the enthusiasm you have mate , it really is highly infectious .
Looking forward to the next one already.
Aww cheers Philip 🫶 just talking about things I’m passionate about, and it’s great fun too
I really like the Templars and Hospitallers they are soooo cool. I'd love to do a warband of that era.
Saying that the Hospitallers are still around today in one form or another.
While I'm not a fan of Napoleonics, I definitely appreciate the video with someone passionate about his hobby. Cheers all
Thanks for commenting that, it’s awesome to know folks can enjoy the vids without being super invested in the actual content 😍😍😍
Great video Peachy, would love to see you back on the Games Night channel again maybe playing some Silver Bayonet!
Cheers! And I’d love to continue the Sharpe story with a part 2 lol
I look forward to a battle report for Silver Bayonet! I am just learning about the game and putting together a band of heroes.
Dear Mr. Peachy
This more colourful and weird take on the Napoleonic wars reminds me of a story I once heard surrounding the death of George Washington.
'The warband to be commanded by the newly gazetted...Major Wentworth, sir?"
Amazing as always Peachy! And as always now I immediately want to sink a lot of money into another game 😅
I would say I’m sorry that you’re sinking into another game…..but it’s silver bayonet so I can only cheer! 🥳🥳🥳
Excellent video, great ramble, well done. 👏🏻
😆👍 cheers
There were a lot women in the revolutionary armies. And l don't mean just camp help etc
I remember reading something about this.
I wonder if she was the inspiration for Sharpes Partizan wife Teresa 🤔
😍😍 well im glad you you enjoyed the vid, the game is pretty cool, test of honour is also great too
Don't forget that Silver Bayonet has licensed models that are also amazing. Seeing sneak peeks of those models is what first piqued my interest in the game.
You had me at Werebear. 😍💪

Hey Nik, though it was brief thanks for stopping to say hi, it did get a bit hectic around that stand at one point lol. And yeah Osprey are smashing it.
Cheers for the comment 😍 it’s so much fun making theses other game vids, and chuffed it has inspired other to give these games a go.
Also i have recently seen deadman’s hand and do fancy giving that a go too….that among many others lol
Excited to watch Peach talk about this! I recently started a force to play Sludge. Silver Bayonet is an easy game to double up with but I haven’t looked too much into it yet. I’ve heard great things about it!
It would appear I’m just scratching the surface of amazing games, so lots more things to discuss down the line
Such a great game. My friend and I played through all the missions in the original book, and that attracted a bigger group to play through the missions in the next. We are all in Toronto, so looking forward to making our way through the Canada book. It is such a solid game.
Would love for you to a horse painting guide after seeing your cavalry in this
Oooh that’s a great shout!
Big agree! Have a ton of 3rd party (before old world released GW lawyers who might be watching) brettonian knights on horse back of various sorts, that I haven't been able to to find an easy or good looking way to paint them.
Great video, Peachy! I have watched this three times now lmao
You're the best Landon! 😘😘😘
Came here after watching the Silver Bayonet battle report. Yeah, looks exactly like something I will enjoy putting teams together for. 👍
And being able to adjust the rules to fit different time periods, opens up some interesting possibilities. A team of Crusaders having to deal with a desert demon.Something Solomon Kane themed. Or even explorers dealing with whatever terrors lurk in the deepest, darkest...wherever. Just to name a couple off the top of my head. 😁
These are awesome ideas 😍👍 thanks for watching the videos too 🙌
You’re getting me so pumped up to make a little warband for a solo campaign. Can’t figure out if I want to do Warcry, Five Leagues, or Frostgrave

I’m a big fan of these long format videos. Keep up the good work Peachy!
Thank you! I do enjoy maki g them that’s for sure
I really like this format Peachy! Listening to you talk about all your models and seeing examples gave me so many ideas for my own little Silver Bayonet warband
That’s awesome! Glad that the video has inspired to get some creative juices flowing for your own warbands
I enjoy the Napoleonic era but am all painted out out for it so I did exactly what you’re suggesting, Peachy, and went outside the box and have just finished a Silver Bayonet force based around the British Empire from the 1890s!
Oh cool! This is why it’s such a great rule set! So easy to change the period to you liking, great job. Any particular location you’re aiming for?
@@PeachyTips Anywhere there’s desert or mountains particularly floats my scenery boat. What I like about the ruleset is that you can make it fit wherever. I had homebrew rules for Egypt so was delighted when the official ones came out. Afghanistan and Sudan are also personal favourites and there’s so much scope explore those areas.
Loving the historical wargaming content, and the crossover with fantasy/horror is *Chefs Kiss*

Thanks, after watching this vid and a bunch of "Let's play" from GMG I've added this rulebook to the pile and started rummaging trough my French Old Gurad bits 😛
Loved the video and love this game. Looking forward to the solo battle reports
Now that’s a smashing idea!!! And it would be rude not to do it 😂 B@STARD CHOSEN STAR CREW!
An undead Hakeswill for Silver Bayonet is beyond perfect
Well I have a figure from warlord…..so it’s on 👍
@@PeachyTips having read so many Sharpe books, Hakeswill being a monster that can keep coming back is thematically spot on..
Cornwell mentions in one of his intros to the Sharpe books, that there was a plan to finish the TV episode of Sharpe’s Enemy with a close up of Hakeswill’s grave & have his hand bursting out of the soil. They ditched the idea unfortunately 😢

Thanks man, I’m very keen to explore lots of these games
This is a great dive into that theatre of war, I might have to look more into this region too 🫶
@@PeachyTips There is so much flexibility with a scenario in this region.
I'm loving these Miniature game reviews Peachy 🍑
