yeah that works sometime when you have dust stuck up inside the encoder, alcohol seems to work in that case. But there are other situation when the encoder get bad in that case you have no other option rather then changing the encoder.
I just added a few drops of alcohol 90% on either side of the scroll wheel. Rotated it around a handful of times. Blew it out. And working again! Wow.. wish I did this months ago lol
could you help me with a similar issue? the scroll wheel on my G102 is really loud compared to how it was when I got it

@@user-qk3tz1wi1u i cleaned it. but opening the encoder is kinda tricky so changing the encoder is much easier.
