Great speedrun, brings back memories. I always thought that this game was way too cut-scene heavy with not enough gameplay flow to it. I did however like the trippy dream levels you had to play through. Thanks for uploading!
Pretty solid run. I hope you know that in construction level you don't need that box to get over to the roof. You can double jump there, which would save you around 15-20 seconds maybe more
+DiegoAlanTorres69 My computer at the time didn't allow me to capture it in any better quality than this, that's also why the video is kind of choppy. I'm going to go back to this now that I have a better computer and record a nicer looking (and hopefully faster) run.

You can see that I select Dead on Arrival at the start of the video and also whenever I save, the game will mention "X saves remaining". Dead on Arrival is the only difficulty with limited saves.
***** If you jump while in the process of switching between a 1 handed (pistols/ingrams) and 2 handed weapon (shotguns/AK47 etc), you will perform a super jump. It's one of the most common tricks in the run and easy to pull off, even casually.
It's not the developer mode. Just before that, at 11:30 I do a slow motion reload into a cutscene trigger. This gives me control of Max during the cutscene and when the cutscene ends Max stays in "cutscene mode". Which is a state where he can't die, and has a single pistol with the + ammo like you see. This state carries over for the next two levels, so you can see Max doesn't take any damage in them.
+Green Go I use slow motion and catch the bulletproof door before it closes. If you look closely you can see it is half open at 30:25, so i'm not actually shooting through it, just around it. Despite the door being open there is still an invisible wall there, which is why I don't just run straight through.
+Shrimp 'aight. i tought it's Just textures' error those half open doors ;) . I love MP2, it's a game of my childhood. I played it like hundreads of Times but what u did... Man, u r God, hah. well done

It feels like a waste of effort for not having this in HD/60fps to me, I'd like to watch this more ocasionally, speedrunning is an art.

I tried speedrun of this game but i was not been able to get it under 60 minutes ..it was around 62
Games back then were so gameplay oriented that it only took you half hour to complete it.
