One of the greatest moments of my life has been seeing you guys live. All 4 times
I was able to go only once, on my birthday. Managed to get to the front and asked Todd if they could all sign my guitar after the show was over. He actually said yes and I bolted out of the building to get it out of the car. An unforgettable night.
Was able to take both my boys to their first all ages show. Mutemath is my youngest boys favorite band now. He did his 5th grade class project on Darren king. It was an awesome night!
Saw them in OKC with Radiant and it is still the best live show I’ve seen.
I got into em kinda late. I was SO STOKED to catch the Vitals tour, then got dumped right before and stayed home moping. Only to learn afterward that they were breaking up. I REALLY hope they tour again!
I saw them touring their first album at a festival in 2007. We'd gone to see Foals in one of the small tents because we knew the bassist's brother and Mutemath happened to be on before them. I'd never heard of them but knew immediately I had to track them down. Such an incredible live experience. Have been following ever since.

This song actually came out right on time for an unfortunate moment in my brother's life. He recently separated from his wife of 3 years right after getting a better paying job, going to court for drunk driving, getting his workout plans in check, and more on top of an already existing dread of living. He's had an overwhelming amount on his plate and Lord knows how he's tried to manage it responsibly through that time.
I sent him this song today after asking him to watch a theatre play in March, and although he was already in a dark place, "I love the song" was all I needed from him to know he's still my brother.
Thanks Paul Meany for releasing this. It doesn't matter if this makes it to an album or not but this is one of your most personal songs to date.

Theres a lot happening, thinking about the lyrics. I´ve had distrubed sleep for 17 years- every night. And I still cope, I still work. Deep sleep can be ... well.. after starting to live a christian life I woke up or came to my senses one night infront of my apartment door, trying to fiddle it open. As a God believer something similar happend when I was a child, surrounded by people suffering from different syndromes.

An unexpected and beautiful gift for Mutemath Fans. This was the best way to start 2022 for sure. This song brings warmth to the heart and soul, it reminds me that there's someone by my side that shows me the way when there's no way, and that sometimes, i can be that too. Simple yet words just can't describe.
