That's a man that possesses alot of woodsmanship. Something guys today just don't have a grasp on. He probably put more effort into just one of his bucks than most guys have wrapped up in 5 bucks. Awesome tour of a fantastic collection of animals.
I love Mr Bloods video s ! I highly respect him for the type person he is ! If he was a friend of the Benoits then im sure he was highly respected by them as well. The late Benoits are my deer hunting heros of all time ! Now Mr Blood is another one of my deer hunting hero s !!!
Haven’t seen you much without a hat and it looks like you have the barber I have. Seriously though I just found your videos a few weeks ago and I really enjoy watching.
I have a Larry Benoit knife made in 2004 leather wrap handle. Just reread your book yesterday and reread a Benoit book today. Kind cool to read the book then see the deer in the stories. The one that stood out to me was the one that charged you in the deep snow. I guess you jumped him 4 or 5 times and he finally had enough probably knew it was going to end that way anyway. Meet you guys at the Worcester Sportsman Show long time ago. There was another great tracker also read his books sure you knew of him "R.G. Bernier, 2001 RIP 🙏.
My late best friend and I found a dollar bill in the Kmart parking lot one October while going to get warmer socks and hand warmers because the conditions for the next days hunt were much colder than normal. I called it the “lucky buck.” I carried it with me the entire season and I shot my 1st buck with a bow that year. I have it stuck in the skull of the euro mount I did on that buck. I passed it on to my friend but he returned it at the end of the season stating it’s only good for one buck lol. I miss that guy but the stories remain. Hal’s dollar brought me back to an awesome memory.
Best part, "turkey beards, from whenever". That's Hal at his finest. Love ya buddy! Maine legend.
Think about the intelligence level of a hunter of 40+ years that can recall every hunt, every animal, and all the details. Only the best can do this.
Every hunter I know can do this. Nothing hard about it.

Thanks for the tour Hal . Gob bless and many more years of health and success 👍👍
I have a home and acreage up in Portage Lake Maine, have you ever hunted that area? Deer are far and few in between up there now .
Probably greatest mancave ever, or at least in the top 10.👍
Wow, think of the effort that went into each and every one of those animals. Amazing!!
Looks like the bucks are using the top of your head as a sign post..🤣Thanks for the tour..
We all have our special place. Hals is nicer than most! Very nice boss

Great tour Hal. From one veteran to another...best wishes for many happy travels in 2023.
That was a cool adventure.
Be interesting to hear your take on the hunting from when you first started till now the good an the bad?
What did he do for a living to be able to afford such a nice house?
Your house is beautiful and I bet your wife can cook. I know she makes a mean meatloaf.
Where in New Brunswick did your wife shoot her buck?? I’m from NB myself..
Kinda sad seeing the greats get old. They just don't make them like they used too sadly 😔
Nice place
Love the Trump picture!
