I did the same thing many years ago with alcohol in my twenties. I asked God to reveal to me why I drank at all. I also asked Him into my heart as my personal savior & I was sincere. God literally started to reveal to me that I was medicating hidden pain from my childhood & I knew I had suffered somethings from my parents bc I never trusted them & didn’t like them for some good reasons. I started reading about the ramifications of toxic family dynamics and I certainly was not addressing this. As soon as I did with reading & therapy from a Christian therapist I met on Christian talk radio my attraction to alcohol literally disappeared in a day. Never have drank ever again & it’s been 30 years. I experienced hurt & disappointment obviously but I prayed and read the Bible & also realized I was the scapegoat in my family & they continued to dismiss me & covertly abused me. I went no contact over 20 years ago. I’m not saying ur son had the exact experiences I had but I’ll tell you Family of origin adverse experiences are at the core of all of our issues. I pray this at least sheds some light on the cause of ur son’s addiction. I’m lifting u & ur son up in prayer right now. God bless you & may ur son be open to what I’ve shared here. 10/15/24

Jesus went about healing ALL who were sick and oppressed of the devil and said " rise take up your mat and walk, go and sin no more". On August 30th 2004 I was suddenly struck w/a debilitating illness that put me in a wheelchair for 17 solid years. Until God healed me not instantly thought it took another two years to get muscle tone back and coordination to be able to walk but by the grace of God I am healed and walking today. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

God wants us to forgive because we are then following Jesus. Forgiveness will heal you while bitterness is like drinking poison hoping the other person will die. The people who hurt you don't care, but God does and think about Him and how unfair we were to Jesus yet He forgave us from the cross. He was God but also human otherwise He would not have asked that the cross be removed, nor would he have sweated blood. Ask God to help you and I promise, you will be free. Tell God what they did then give it to Him to punish. If you obey and pray for you enemies, your heart will change
Forgiveness is a Decision. After you decide to forgive the people who hurt you, you have to bless them and you have to renounce all feelings that weren't honoring God. One of the first unclean spirit that you have to renounce is Offense. I know this because I help many people receive deliverance in the name of Jesus Christ.

Z@Alicia-t5q. I’m sorry Alicia I’m 3w late. Just now saw ur request. Was ur son abused or neglected as a child❓if so he is burying unknown emotional pain. I did the same thing many years ago with alcohol in my twenties. I asked God to reveal to me why I drank at all. I also asked Him into my heart as my personal savior & I was sincere. God literally started to reveal to me that I was medicating hidden pain from my childhood & I knew I had suffered somethings from my parents bc I never trusted them & didn’t like them for some good reasons. I started reading about the ramifications of toxic family dynamics and I certainly was not addressing this. As soon as I did with reading & therapy from a Christian therapist I met on Christian talk radio my attraction to alcohol literally disappeared in a day. Never have drank ever again & it’s been 30 years. I experienced hurt & disappointment obviously but I prayed and read the Bible & also realized I was the scapegoat in my family & they continued to dismiss me & covertly abused me. I went no contact over 20 years ago. I’m not saying ur son had the exact experiences I had but I’ll tell you Family of origin adverse experiences are at the core of all of our issues. I pray this at least sheds some light on the cause of ur son’s addiction. I’m lifting u & ur son up in prayer right now. God bless you & may ur son be open to what I’ve shared here. 10/15/24

God wants us to forgive because we are then following Jesus. Forgiveness will heal you while bitterness is like drinking poison hoping the other person will die. The people who hurt you don't care, but God does and think about Him and how unfair we were to Jesus yet He forgave us from the cross. He was God but also human otherwise He would not have asked that the cross be removed, nor would he have sweated blood. Ask God to help you and I promise, you will be free. Tell God what they did then give it to Him to punish. If you obey and pray for you enemies, your heart will change
Forgiveness is a Decision. After you decide to forgive the people who hurt you, you have to bless them and you have to renounce all feelings that weren't honoring God. One of the first unclean spirit that you have to renounce is Offense. I know this because I help many people receive deliverance in the name of Jesus Christ.
@@crismil102587 How do I bless them when the relationship is unhealthy. I pray for them. I would help them out with whatever they needed if they needed it. But, to open the door to have a relationship would not be good

Please pray for me and with me! I am currently in a very desperate place with the possibility of losing my home and my job. Unless the Lord intervenes and helps me, I really don't know how I will make it through the weeks ahead or get my children through university. But I chose to still trust and hold on to the Lord.
I can pray for you that God leads you to the place you belong. That might mean losing your job and your house. How many tragedies in life have led you to where you needed to be? Sometimes what we want is not what we need even when those things seem terrible. I love you and hope you find joy in even the struggle.

My sons also were consumed with drug addiction and God delivered them. They are clean and sober for seven years now. Don’t give up hope and continue to love her, though set boundaries to preserve your peace. God will hear your prayers. Prayers for my son James. He’s 21 and in a dark place. I speak Pslams 91 over his life, that he is covered and protected. That his eyes are open to see that God and his family love him. That his desires change and remembers that he’s a child of God and the righteousness of God. That Labors will come, minister to him and he returns back. My sister just passed away. She had dementia and Alzheimer’s very sad. I prayed over her to stay, but she left I need financial assistance. I have two car payments. I need insurance which I lost. I need to move from this home. Landlord does not fix anything. water bill is 900 needs to fix the toilets and refuses so I can get an adjustment And I need sales Medicare starting Monday in Jesus name healing
