That's how to do a review ...Brilliant...honest . Well done 👏 . It's cus of your review on the LV IMAGINATION and LIMMENSITE i purchased them fragrances. Glad I did ,
I love absolu aventus. Got complimented on it on my first wear and easily smelled it on me 8 hours later still. Lovely add to my GIT and Royal Oud creeds
As a man, I really enjoy Carmina and think it is truly a fabulous release that men can wear. I'm having high hopes the this "New Creed" has turned a corner and will start releasing great fragrances again, whether new or old releases made with actual quality.
bought two bottles last week as Saks and find the projection and longevity to be poor. love the scent but the performance is not there for the ridiculous price of $545 a bottle. thinking of returning !
Came across your channel purely by accident....really enjoy the straight forward and down to earth review style, you remind me of the Urban Gentry channel 😊 Great to here your background experience with older 'Golden years' batches of Aventus ....personally I'm over Aventus and have moved on, however I really enjoyed your take on A Absolu....Subscribed 👍
That’s interesting. The original Aventus last 8 hours plus on my skin. I have tried the Dior Elixir and don’t like the dry down at all. Smells like fabric softener to me.
Yes I tried the Absolu last week. Very fruity from get go. Would like to leave on the skin an monitor the dry down. I also tried PDM Haltane which I really liked. A good fragrance but just lacking that wow factor
Thank you for the good review. I wanted to buy the new absolu aventus, but you spoke to my mind with that truth about performance, not worth the money and comparison with other perfumes. I rather stick with original aventus, 100ml for not even 300€ in europe, or Dior sauvage elixir 🦾 than new aventus 75ml for 320€ in europe 😂 Thats a shame.
I personally have a very good experience with creed fragrances so far. Viking and green irish tweed lasts on me forever. Aventus lasts less than the both of them, but still very solid performance of 8-10 hours (depends on what i do). Didnt try the absolu yet and i heard its similar to Sauvage Elixir, so i have to test it before buying.
I have GIT and it’s so beautiful, I can really appreciate the quality in it. I also have the original Viking arriving next week and so I can’t wait to try it!
Let yourself make 10 sprays of Aventus (normal one 2023 batch) on your shirt/tshirt or whatever your wear on your chest and you will see how long lasting it is. It is not a beast mode fragrance but it lasts long if you overspray it on clothes. On skin indeed, it does not work well with skins but works absolutely well with cloths.
@@visionaryfragrancesmy absolu bottle I can hear the air pocket in it 😔 love it but I 2nd his statement. You gotta go 10 sprays. Really double spray every spot an clothes yes sticks great
I totally agree. It lasts 8 + hours on me. I’m amazed people are saying it doesn’t last that long. I only put 3 sprays on me. Coming to you from Australia
I disagree completely. The scent is great, works for me well. Unique, although having similarities to others. I prefer it over the Original, having a 2014 Batch. I respect your opinion about the subject though.I recommend y’all to at least check it out, try it on your skin. Shits amazing. (:
You’re right, it does smell amazing, especially the opening. I have a video coming out this evening which is an update after owning this for 1 month. My thoughts still stand that the price is excessive for what you get. We are talking £426 per 100ml! On me, yes it smells amazing - but it sits very close to the skin and after 7 hours it’s very, very faint. Everyone should try a fragrance this expensive before buying and shouldn’t rely on any reviews as fragrances are subjective
@@visionaryfragrances Thank you for your reply, looking forward to your upcoming videos! And yes, I totally get you. Have you heard about different batches smell different? So far I been able to track down 3 different batches. Since I have sampled before buying mine. I know that they rumor to only be one batch. But I’ve seen a couple different batch numbers. That don’t add up. As well as they do smell different. One batch smells like aventus at the opening, Juicy Fruity freshness, then you get the woods and doesn’t last long. Only got 4-6H The actual bottle I got last me 10H but when it sprays it doesn’t smell as much as the Aventus on the opening. But last longer with the last notes. Very interesting. Like to hear your thoughts if you seen that or heard anything about it.
Come on man they just got around to releasing Bleu de Chanel and BR540 clones after being on the market for years. If they made a clone of this it won't be anytime soon.
"Become a skin scent after 2 hours" for a $400 fragrance. If you don't consider that criminal then cloning these fragrances should not suffer criminal penalties. I could ignore the cost to performance ratio if that was the only problem with Creed but the fact that "Aventus" the flag ship has been reformulated how many times? Gets progressively weaker with each formulation without a decrease in price? Every Creed fragrance should include a lipstick sample. At least you will look pretty when you get F'd.
The perfume parlour clone which I ordered is a 10er. As authentic green Irish tweed and the pp clone are 10s I just wish you got what you paid for with creed. I paid $260 for sauvage elixir and you get what you pay for as far as longevity and the scent itself
@@tittumsmcsprinkles9020 definitely. I paid $380 for absolu aventus and it does leave a lot to be desired as far as longevity but I just wear it in the heat. Smells amazing and it’s not cloying, Beautiful citrus fragrance so it works.
@@chrishenry9540 I haven't got my nose on authentic absolu and after smelling the perfume parlour clone I don't really care to it was good enough to buy a 60ml extract for me. I don't have authentic green irish tweed on hand but I almost bought their clone of it. It was almost there but a little off going by memory. I loved it after a first wearing but a second wearing wasn't doing it for me. Their Absolu clone makes me want to continue the journey after smelling and buying Sauvage Elixir then smelling nothing I loved as much as that until now.
@@visionaryfragrances It's still pretty good quality but it's not as smooth, well blended, or as "refined" as most other Creed fragrances. In my opinion Carmina is scratchier and not as well blended.
Absolutely a rip off. €448 for a 75mls bottle in Flannels here in Ireland, it’s is a scam. You’re paying the brand name & not the quality of the perfume. Just a joke the so-called expert perfume Vloggers are promoting this trash.
Then buy it and enjoy it. I have my own opinions and that’s what I share on here. Absolu Aventus smells amazing as I said but for the price it needs to do more

Need to try Carmina, I’ll probably buy it in November to review :)

By far the best Absolu Aventus review I've seen, thank you George :-)
Wow, thank you!
Been trying to buy this since forever! Cant get it anywhere 🥺
This is the one I was waiting for. The only reviewer I care to hear from. Keep up the great work man, no one does it like you.

My issue with overspraying expensive fragrances is they run out very quickly, and we shouldn’t need to overspray an expensive fragrance

Haven't smelled it yet. Carmina was terrible, like a 4/10 - very poor blend quality.
Yes. The new owners have cheapend the brand. Even the new ad campaign for Creed "Carmina" is cheap and tacky. Oh Well. Another one bites the dust.
