On Board: BART from Fremont to Warm Springs

On 24 March 2017, BART and the City of Fremont formally inaugurated Warm Springs/South Fremont station and inducted into the BART network. Regular train service to and from Warm Springs commenced the following day on the Richmond - Warm Springs line.
Taken on a Saturday, I rode a BART train from Montgomery in San Francisco to Coliseum in Oakland, then switched to the train you are viewing to Warm Springs in southern Fremont. In this video, you get to see the brand new section from Fremont station to Warm Springs station, spanning around 5.3 miles (~9km) and lasting around 6 minutes. I also filmed disembarking from the train, heading towards the new concourse area, and down the escalator to the new glass panel welcoming passengers going through the station.
