At first I thought I just had the worst aim in the world, but now I see that the firepower really is that bad... it took you 3 seconds to kill the stalled out biplane in the beginning even though your aim is a lot better than mine. I guess I just have to work with it and learn which planes I can kill and which I should just ignore. Do you have any tips on flying this plane in an air domination match? I climb up to altitude but there's nothing except bombers and p-47s there and I can't do anything....
***** Lol over half of my games are on the Ki-43 alone. I haven't unlocked the Italian planes in the German tree... I rarely play other nations so :P I appreciate the tip about choosing your ranges though... It confirms my suspicions. So far all of the Japanese weapons I've used (12.7s, army and navy 20mms) seem to work best below 400m and don't do any damage past 600-pretty similar to your numbers.

I love the Ki-43, even unlocked all the skins for the slightly worse 43-I. The IAI do too little damage but I'd have it for stealth's sake. That and 260 ping is heck of a patience test XD
Jengar It's quite a fun experience really :) same goes to the I-16 and the 1st MiG-3. That satisfaction when you get the century kill. If anything, it's better than the 200 groundkill skin on the Wellington I'm aiming for XD

I'm pretty new to this game. I'm assuming this was before air targets ammo was available? This plane seems pretty effective with it.

it is magnificent ;) but fair enough, you got to be on point with aiming them 50 cals :)
yeah, but at the same time its harder to get the 37's on target too then a stream of smaller caliber :)
sniping is the hardest in my opinion, it took me longer to become acceptable with 37mm's then with most other calibers ;)
