    I invested in farm land twenty years ago. Best investment I ever made. In my opinion, if someone other you is handling your money you are in trouble. Remember, they are not making any new farm land, but what we have is being sucked up for other uses. SO, if you can afford it jump in

      Ukraine open farmland market. You can buy at $1k per hectare!

    Hmm... I would have liked to ask if you're taking good care of your dirt. Farmers, often in it for generations seem to do a pretty good job and have a big interest in it. I'm not saying that larger investors don't, but, it seems like something one would want to know about if making a direct investment.

      properties are leased to farmers ultimately. also the leases are quite long term. im sure the incentive to keep things fertile is there

      @@crispinsday Yeah, right! We farm and unless you own the land you do not treat it with the care it deserves. When times are tight, almost all of the time, even farmer owners cut corners just to keep farming.

    Is the rent paid annually or bi-annually?

      Farmer Gerry here rent is paid anally and other types of rent as well as share rent some times this could be used as a tax benefit the others are Straight Cash rent
