Who We Are: Ikeda Center for Peace, Learning, and Dialogue

The Ikeda Center is a peace, learning, and dialogue institute founded by Daisaku Ikeda in 1993. Located in Cambridge, Massachusetts, the Center engages diverse scholars, students, and citizens in the search for ideas and solutions that will assist in a shift toward a culture of peace. Center programs include public forums and scholarly seminars that offer a range of perspectives on key issues in global ethics. We also develop and publish books that foster cross-cultural dialogue and greater human flourishing.
