Excellent How-to video. Very detailed and well-shoot. I especially like that you took the time to show where to jack the car up and the greases I should use on my 02 maxima. I'm fully confident I can do as good a job myself as a shop mechanic would have just by following this video's instructions. Thank you.
That was an awesome idea to include the use of jack stands for safety. I made the mistake of not using jack stands 11 years ago and in return my truck fell on my head.
When you wiggled the first wheel I LOL. Old crippled guy/back/step saver trick: Tie a suitable length of cheap rope (clothes line) to each jack stand, and keep it outside the perimeter of vehicle. When done- simply pull them out. Be very careful not to tie a noose.
@@themechanic6117 I know this vid is already an older one, but I would imagine if that much rust was visible that the trailing arm and radiator support were probably shot. Probably an unsafe car to even drive lol

Wow... that was some major bearing play! Are you hiding the Permatex logo because of possible UA-cam monetization issues? Smart!
+Thomas EXOVCDS yeah definitely needs new bearings, yeah I think it's just to play it safe and blur out the logo

Damm that is a nice car you need to use it in more videos lol
+SBC CRoW as long as it keeps breaking lol
Should you open the cap on the brake cylinoid before pressing the calipers?
You can if you want but thats not necessary
@@themechanic6117 Cool. Thanks for the informational video. I cant afford a good mechanic, so I gotta learn how to fix it myself...
Nothing wrong with that
No towel on the jack between the frame this time? 🤔 #allcarsmatter 😂

Id agree but theres no inspections here where i live to deem a car unsafe. We only have emissions testing
