- A how-to video on building your own kitchen cart/microwave stand. This is a simple weekend project and the cart is built out of a few 2x4s and 2x6s. We made this cart as a housewarming/engagement gift for a friend and took the opportunity to share the build with all of you. Get the plan to go along with this video on our website.

Thank you, thank you so much for making this possible I’ve learned a lot . Thank you for using some simple tools that a everyday person like myself could use. Ex- (pocket whole ) tool! It was not another big heavy tool. 😊
Nice thank you. I will take this idea and build mine but instead of using lots of 2x4 I will use a plywood for less weight. Thank you you guys are awesome!
Thanks! Good luck with your project!
That was a great video thanks. As thery say you learn something everyday
Beautiful! nice job
+Ashley Chisling thanks!
Good old radial arm saw. Nothing's gonna go wrong there!
nice job you just me an idea thanks for the video
+shadow of love thanks! We're glad you found it useful.
It's a useful video. For those watching, you should not wear gloves when operating power tools. There's a good chance that any injury will be worse when your glove gets caught in a saw blade, for example.
Good job!
Thanks!
Using a radial arm saw. Good for you.
Love the radial arm saw!
Nice work guys but the super fast videoing nearly makes me fall off me seat 😂, has the world become that way where our attention span is to be captured in under 10 mins, by no means I direct this at you as I'm keen to understand this & my editing equipment is slow lol, love what you are doing & keep that momentum going, Sumo DownUnder 👍👍👍
Thanks for the encouragement. I think the average attention span is actually under 10 minutes! This is our attempt to try to show what we're doing while keeping the pace fast enough to keep people watching throughout. It's a tough balance!
I'm a diy newbie. What kind of wood are you using?
2x4 s and 2x6s
How much would one of these sell for?
Do you mean for us to sell or you're looking to build one and sell it? We wouldn't be interested in selling; no time right now and shipping cost would be killer. If you're looking to build and sell it yourself, I'd suggest maybe around $200-$250 to make it worth your time. Good luck!
I am building one now and wondering how much to sell it for.
Like I said, maybe $200 to $250 but it'll depend on how you feel the finished product turned out and how much effort you had to put into it.
Thanks for your input. I think I'll ask $225
One hot lady and the trolley was not bad either.
Not going to disagree with either comment... :p
The space for the microwave is too small- avg microwave is 22 inches wide x 14 in. deep I am altering the plans to accommodate.
The space worked perfect for ours and another one we built for a friend but, you're right, if you have a bigger microwave, you'll need to adjust the plans.
What is that hanging saw you have?
I'm not sure which one you mean. If you mean the main one I use, it's called a radial arm saw. Mine is pretty old school so it looks a little different than what you might get today. If you mean the one in the background hanging from the ceiling, that's just a cordless circular saw
Lol, forgot the glue on that one 2:58
Yup, it happens sometimes. :p Thanks for watching!
Looks like just what I need in my kitchen. That super-fast video though? Not so much. Nice project though.
Thanks! We get that the fast video isn't for everyone but it's been our approach so far and it's been generally well received. It's tough to make a "UA-cam" length video without it. If you're trying to build it and the video is too fast, we do have the plan for this one up for free on our website. Thanks for the feedback!
@@Handyverse Hi there. Is the plan still available on your website?
The plan only actually made it onto our website a couple of weeks ago. But it is available. Please share your project once complete.
@@Handyverse Gotcha, thanks. I'll let you know how I make out. Cheers
Can be build with $15-20 here 😂😐
Thats great. Do you have plans to share?
@@Handyverse I'm in south central Asian time zone the material is cheap here which is easy to build what furniture you require along with craftsman's fee. With such small design it can be make approx $10-$15I think in local buks with medium grade wood will be cost $15-$25 is you require good wood/timber
Wish it was a little cheaper for us here. Thats great
It used to be under a hundred but ever since Biden closed everything down it's twice that now
Haha, yes, this would not be under $100 anymore with the price of lumber :(
