My wife has been wanting me to make something for her to sit beside the bed and store her meds and other needs in, and this is perfect for the design I need to make for her. She even likes the whitewash and the top as well. This is something I look forward to building myself.
Awesome! Enjoy the build!
@@DIYMAN Would you have the plans for this build by chance?
Great project, you made that look easy. Thanks for the step by step instruction.
Thank you! Happy to do it!
nice :) this reminds me of the Kitchen furniture my Grandmother had. She and granddad lived is a small farm in the UK. The only thing she would not like is the boxed in bottom. she used to say Kitchen furniture needs legs so you can clean under it, box it in you are just making a house for a mouse :) She could clean like a champion lol
What length of pocket screws did you use?
I typically prefer 1 1/4”
Awesome video, sir! The finished project looks awesome. I'm curious, how much was the material cost for that build?
Thank you so much! To be honest, I’m not 100% since I bought a lot of the materials a while back. I’m guessing it cost me around $150 or so, but all this stuff was purchased before the great price gouge of our time
Well done. I was shaking my head when I saw the T50 staples, but you changed that at a later point.
Yeah, they didn’t work out so well
The cut out spaces for the drawers are called grooves if they run with the grain. Dadoes if they are cross cut from the grain.
Thank you for this. I didn’t know that
What size nails did you use for the trim gun?
I typically use 2” nails. I can’t remember on this project exactly
Amazing work!!! Wish my stuff looked that good!!!! Thank you!!!! 😲🤔👍😎🙏😃
Thank you! I appreciate that!
Nice job. I think some curved cut outs along the bottom and a crown detail on the top would go a long way with this piece.
Thank you! Yeah, I bet it would
I really like this and would love my husband to make me one. He watched the video and was sure he could do everything but wasn’t sure about the drawers and door. Would it be possible to go into more details on them or refer us to a video that would help. Thanks so much
Thanks! I have a couple older videos on drawers and doors he could try
@@DIYMAN thank you. I sent him a bunch of links.
How can I get plans to build how can I get plans to build this Hutch

Awesome project! Great video! Thank you!

What kind of hinges did you use please?
