Nice work, Pete! Both colors stand out and I like that. I've always been intimidated by building drawers and I think you have one of the best tutorials out there, so excellent work there as well. Hope the house reno is coming along great! Can't wait to see more! Cheers!
Hey JP! Thanks so much. I agree and thing drawers can certainly be intimidating. Learning the hardware and how to use it is sometimes half the battle, but those slides I used were pretty darn easy. And knowing to leave a half inch on each side of the drawer for slides and then a 16th of an inch around the perimeter of the face is some of the key information. My actual joints are super basic and nothing fancy, but they work for this and are an easy way to show a beginner. Hope all is well, the house renovation is going great. Just finishing up with the garage this week and took down a couple more walls. Appliances are half here and cabinets are being designed. Thanks so much for subscribing and for taking the time to say hi! Cheers man! - Pete
Ola bom dia DIY PETE, tudo bem com você Belissímo trabalho, belo profissional, parabéns. Mais um like pra você, grande abraço... Hi good morning, DIY, how are you? Beautiful work, beautiful professional, congratulations. One more to you, big hug ...
Great build Pete, i wondered how long it was going to take, for you to chuck in a bit of concrete ha ha ha. Hows the new house coming along? Barry (ENG)
Hey Barry! It actually is working great for my temporary kitchen with no other cabinets and appliances haha :) House is coming along great. Finishing up with the garage this week and have torn down more walls. Going to be posting an update next week. Hope all is well over in England!
Thanks Todd! You'll want to look for an "inset" type hinge - have a photo of the example so you can figure out which hinge will configure correctly so it sits flush with the frame. If I get to the store and find a good one I'll let ya know :) Cheer!
Hey Todd! I took a little road trip tour around the country in May and made it as far south as Pensacola and then headed back North. I definitely want to check out more of Florida though as it seemed like a really neat place when I visited. Have fun building and have an awesome weekend!
Hi Rick! You'll want to use 100% silicon once in place ( similar to mounting granite or concrete counters. --- I set it it place during the video since I was transporting it for video and photos at a few places. Cheers!
Hi! I had 1 1/2 inch screws and 1 1/4 inch screws that got into the same bucket so it was the screw length. I ended up fixing them once I figured it out :)
Hey Nathan! Thanks! I have all the Ryobi brad nailers and larger nailers. They work pretty well, but sometimes I prefer the ol' compressor nailers! :) Cheers!
I noticed that you used your screw gun instead of the impact for setting the pocket hole screws. Was there a specific reason for that design in this build?
Hi! Kregjig actually recommends using a normal drill / screw gun for setting the pocket holes and setting the chuck so it doesn't over tighten. A lot of times I'll use an impact though because it is convenient and still works fine as long as you are careful that you don't over tighten. Cheers!
Then next will be coming out this coming week :) The garage is just about complete! Hope all is well Muhammad and thanks so much for following the renovation. Cheers!
Hi Pete. I am from Braazil and I like a lot your projects. Thanks for posting.
Thanks so much Ricardo, hope all is well in Brazil!
Looked up kitchen cart build and this video stood out. It looks great! Thanks for posting.

this is awesome i'm building this with a butchers block top! Do you have another hinge recommendation?
Thanks Todd! You'll want to look for an "inset" type hinge - have a photo of the example so you can figure out which hinge will configure correctly so it sits flush with the frame. If I get to the store and find a good one I'll let ya know :) Cheer!

Nice !!!!
Thanks!
Very nice! When you placed the concrete piece on top of the cart, did you secure the concrete top at all? It looked like you just placed it on top.

Ahh! Make sense, thank you Pete! Cheers from Idaho!
Hey Rick! Hope all is well down in Idaho!!
The best 🖖🇺🇸
Thanks!
Nice
Thanks!
Nice job!
What wood was used ?
Thank you
Thanks! I used pine for this project. Cheers!
Was it the wrong screws, wrong settings on the jig or overtightning that caused the pocket screws to pop through at 4:06?
Hi! I had 1 1/2 inch screws and 1 1/4 inch screws that got into the same bucket so it was the screw length. I ended up fixing them once I figured it out :)
It's OK, Pete. We all "screw up".
I screw up a lot -- That video editing helps though:)
All of those nice cordless ryobi tools and no ryobi Brad nailer? Nice build though.
Hey Nathan! Thanks! I have all the Ryobi brad nailers and larger nailers. They work pretty well, but sometimes I prefer the ol' compressor nailers! :) Cheers!

thanks, was just curious cause I know personally I used impact over the screw gun.
Happy Building from Vermont
Thanks! Hope all is well in Vermont!
It is thanks. Snow is coming.
Nice! Love it, I was just ripping around on the snowmobile in the mountains yesterday. Hope you get enough to get in some turns at the slopes!
