Ah yes, the Chikage. One of the most versatile weapons in all of FromSoft. Obtaining it in such an early game is...very good move, it's quite overpowered if you level up your Bloodtinge stats
The Chikage and Rakuyo has to be the 2 most fun and versatile weapons in the game, although the whirlygigsaw is defo also a favorite just because of sillyness.
@@TrueSquareFace Im a old NG+23 and after my NG7 i learned to chicage build, actually its an B weapon early ON but if you learn to farm gems and understand the mechanics behind it with calice code to enter specific ones shared by players it's OP. If you build it correctly and farm these gemms (even juste in the story you can get 2 really good) the weapon is extremely strong and yes versatile. Hard to learn, but trust me that thing is fun as hell to use and does serious damage. One of my favorite weapon, plus the weapon scales on strengh and dext on safe mode (not transformed) and scale on S (blood) on +10 who is scary AF. with some stamina runes you can really shine, I watched a bit of your serie and you seem very fun and good on your first playtrough. you will learn that some weapons are lootable from calice as well and have different names and offers you more optimal slots for gemms. The end game farming is not only stats or +10 the world of gemming is really exciting hope to see you explore and try hard if you love the game.
I always go for the Lost variant you can get from some Chalice Dungeons right after killing the Blood-starved Beast before challenging Vicar Amelia to get it ridiculously early (although, I think the dungeons were tougher).
Logarius was an absolute pain even after learning you can lock on and shoot the sword in rhe ground to stop the sword rain and picking up runes to boost visceral damage
I'm glad you liked the Amygdala creatures hanging aound the buildings. In order to reach the DLC area, you're going to have to let one grab you to take you to the Nightmare. Just make sure you have the "Eye of thte Blood Drunk Hunter" which is found in the Hunter's Dream. Then go back to Cathedral Ward and you'll find one outside. You have to let him grab you, because the DLC bosses are insane. You're gonna love em.

I don't know if anyone told you but if no one did. you can hit an enemy with a full charged attack from behind it will stager it, then you can do visceral attack with normal attack. also fire element is for beasts and electric element is for Celestial enemy. And keep up the great work.

The fact that you got that many viscerals off against Logarius in his latter stage is actually insane. He has an anti projectile aura, making the window for bullets here extremely small. Well done indeed.
Logarius was a ceiling for me for a minute. Finally got him with my first and only successful parry. Had no heals left and a smidgen of heath. Landed the parry but he had a tiny bit of health left two swings of my sword and the fight was finally over. Felt so good.
I know it’s late but each boss has a small gimmick from the beginning One reborn ; kill the priests , Logarias; vulnerable to parry , easy parry when he dives in and you can shoot his staff to stop the blood storm
If an enemy uses magic use fire if the creature is on fire use lightning also anything that looks like a beast can be lured away with a pungently bloody cocktail

Tips on how to get to the DLC, When you are on the red moon phase after spider Rom, Got back to the forest, get a key item Get grab by the huge monster in town, get transported to the DLC area. Best to be around level 70-90 or above though. There is another Katana, Rakuyo there that scale with mostly Skill and some arcane scaling but it's pretty late in the dlc area. Tips on the boss: The one Reborn, you can kill the fire mages by going up the stairs at the corner of the arena. Making the fight 50% Easier. You can easily stagger the boss, you realize he is stagger when you just put all his legs down doing nothing for the next 3 second and you can do a fatal attack at his front legs dealing Massive Damages that's why he's such a damage sponge not because you are under level. Making the fight 100% easier. Logarius, on his second phase when he put a curse sword down the arena where the swords will keep spamming projectiles on you... you can destroy that cursed sword on the floor with one or 2 hits. I know all the bosses tips seem kinda useless when you have already beaten them. =/ But you are moving pretty fast in the game and are already 70% done with the main game.

That's not how you get to the DLC, you're confusing it with the Nightmare Frontier side-area, my guy! To get to the DLC, you just have to beat Amelia and interact with Laurence's skull in her arena, then go get the Eye Of a Blood-drunk Hunter item given to you afterwards next to the doll in the Hunter's Dream. Then, you gotta let yourself get grabbed by the Amygdala in Cathedral Ward, near the well outside of the chapel at the start.

Other than that it can do some good damage, just keep in mind that when transformed it mainly scales off of bloodtinge and when untransformed mainly scales off of skill.

You keep calling every boss a gimmick boss. Witch of Hemwick was one, sure. But Amelia, Shadows, Rom, and TOR are all mandatory bosses that function as gateways to further areas. Rom especially is a huge switch flipped on the game.

You missed loot at the start of the Cainhurst castle which is basically almost a katana too (a kind of bayonetta).

You keep calling every boss a gimmick boss. Witch of Hemwick was one, sure. But Amelia, Shadows, Rom, and TOR are all mandatory bosses that function as gateways to further areas. Rom especially is a huge switch flipped on the game.

18:25 yes please..at least for a full minute..i dont like that you HAVE to watch videos of how to beat bosses..in my time (when the game was released..we had to find a way to defeat them and die many..MANY times before they were dead,plus no watching videos (spoiler) it has the magic to surprise and amaze you with the cut scenes because you have no idea of what's coming next..N not showing how you defeat the bosses? that takes 3-4 points from rating your video from 1-10..🙄
